The Shillong Sports Association football stadium is equipped with a standard football ground with natural turf. Dressing rooms for the playing teams and officials are aptly equipped and are well maintained.
It boast of 2 covered galleries apart from its open stands. An official meet up place has also found a space in the complex.
Though about a half of the seating gallery is still under progress, one thing is certain though.
It has evolved.

Youngsters play and practice different sports activities. It was created by British in early 1890s and primarily played Polo game. I am lucky to play football, cricket here as a child school boy.
