I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the behavior of your front office staff. I was misled/cheated by the front desk boy with false information regarding [membership/fees/services]. Such unprofessional conduct is unacceptable and creates a very negative impression of your gym.
I request you to take strict action against this behavior and ensure that no other member faces the same issue. I joined your gym with trust and expect honesty, transparency, and professionalism.
Looking forward to your prompt response.
To the Gym Management,
I recently had an unpleasant experience with the reception staff. They seemed unfriendly and unhelpful when I asked about class schedules.
I hope you can address this issue to improve customer service.
Bad experience,,
I had an unpleasant experience with the front office staff at the gym. The front office boy was unhelpful and unprofessional, which made my visit very disappointing. I hope the management looks into this issue and ensures better customer service in the future.
Its almost 4 months since we(self & wife) joined this Fitness World. After many enquires, I considered this is the best gym in and around Tarnaka area. Strategically located on 1st floor of a building on Tarnaka main road with sufficient parking space. Well equipped, well lit, always clean and well maintained and also good value for money.
The gym is managed very well by the trainer Mr. Sudarshan. He is very knowledgeable, trained and experienced in the field of health and fitness. And the best part is the calm, patient and courteous manner in which he'll impart the training to you.
He tailors workouts to suit our goals, ensuring they are effective. He also explains the forms and variations and making sure that we are doing properly in every workout.
He knows what exercise to be performed and which exercise hits which muscle and how stress and strain works.
A good gym & recommended
I joined Bandas Fitness World in Tarnaka after reading Google reviews. However, after joining, I realized that the morning and evening trainers ask members to write positive reviews mentioning their names, which raises concerns about the authenticity of the ratings.
Regarding my membership, I paid the fee on the 8th but could only start attending from the 18th. Despite requesting the receptionist, Kalpana, multiple times to adjust my start date so I wouldn't lose those 10 days, she refused. They counted my membership from the 8th, leading to a loss of time and money. Additionally, in December, I took a break and requested to pause my membership and resume in January, but I received the same rigid response. When I asked for the owner's contact to escalate my request, Kalpana dismissed it, saying she handles all admissions and would not make any adjustments.
Apart from these issues, my main concern was the behavior of a trainer. The day after I joined, he started pressuring me to buy a meal replacement product from him. Despite repeatedly telling him I wasn't interested, he kept insisting daily, to the point that it became mentally exhausting. Eventually, he convinced me to message him for a meal plan, but he only sent a random picture from the internet. From then on, he kept calling and messaging, persistently pushing me to buy the product. I requested a sample due to existing health concerns, but he refused and instead insisted I buy three packs. I eventually gave in and paid 6,500 for the product, which I never even used.
Moreover, while he was observing Ayyappa Swamy Maala, he asked me for 5,000, saying he needed help. As a student, I couldn't afford it, but I still lent him 4,000, believing he would return it after his trip to Kerala. However, to this day, he has not returned my money and instead claims that I am the one bothering him.
Overall, my experience was disappointing. Not only did I lose money on an unused meal replacement, but I also wasted two months of gym fees due to the lack of flexibility in their policies. I strongly suggest that the owner take these issues seriously, personally visit the gym, and ensure better management and accountability.
