A Warm and Energising Yoga Journey at Swastik Zumba & Yoga Fitness Centre Over the past two and a half months, I've had the joy of being part of a yoga and Zumba community led by Mrs. Sayani Mitra -- an accomplished instructor, dancer, and Viswa Bharati alumna. Each class brings a sense of energy and focus that's hard to put into words -- you simply have to experience it. Even on days when I'm not at my best, just walking into the class feels like a reset. Sayani ma'am's vibrant energy fills the space and uplifts everyone around her. She won't hand-hold you, but she'll empower you in such a way that you start pushing your own boundaries -- slowly, steadily, and confidently. What I appreciate is how the experience feels personal yet inclusive. Whether it's children, young adults, or elders above 60, everyone is gently guided toward their own level of strength, flexibility, and balance. It's quietly inspiring to witness. We're also guided by Mrs. Chameli Paladhi, who brings a calm, attentive presence to the space. She observes every movement with care and provides gentle corrections that make a big difference in the long run. Her approach is thoughtful and reassuring -- a perfect complement to the dynamic pace of the classes. The sessions are held in a flat that's airy, naturally lit, and well-maintained, with air-conditioning for summer comfort. The environment is clean, peaceful, and just right for a focused hour of movement and breathwork. One of the things that stood out to me early on is how easy it was to feel part of the group. It usually takes just a class or two for most people to blend in, thanks to the warm, supportive environment. The practice itself is well-rounded -- a balanced blend of cardio, stretching, yoga, and pranayama, all thoughtfully structured within an hour. It never feels rushed, yet you walk out refreshed -- body and mind. What makes the experience even more engaging are the thoughtful touches beyond the usual routine -- things like pool yoga sessions and celebrating festive occasions through movement. These little moments build a sense of belonging and joy. The studio is located just a 5-7 minute walk from Haldiram Bus Stand, and classes begin on time. Communication is clear and timely through an active WhatsApp group, which keeps everyone informed and connected. And while everything sounds like it should come with a premium price tag, the fees are incredibly reasonable -- making it all the more accessible for those looking to begin or restart their wellness journey. This isn't a sponsored review -- just a note of gratitude from someone who's experienced genuine growth here. If you're thinking about starting yoga or simply looking for a space to reconnect with yourself, I'd truly recommend giving this place a try. Each person's journey is different, of course -- but for many of us, this has become much more than just a fitness class. With appreciation, Washim Raja Akash
