A good gym overall. Pros:- Location- Very visible and well placed @ Anwar Shah Road. Easily accessible with public transportation Parking- Facility available Space- Very spacious; a very big floor divided into 4 (5 if you count the cafeteria) compartments. Cafeteria- Serves healthy food. There are other amenities in it like the Pool table but you have to pay for it. Equipment- Has an array of diverse and well kept machines. Only complain- Smith machine is not their best Ambience- a rather mixed feeling; it can sometimes both appealing or repealing, depending on the day. Extra facilities- Have steam bath, massage room and spinning room with yoga and zumba for people who are interested Cons- Decor- Being a part of a residential building, the gym looks more like an upgraded home gym; low celing, white lights and no proper daylight source. It can get gloomy and affect you unconsciously. Trainers- People share mixed opinion about the trainers. Generally trainers don't stick to this gym for long, they're always leaving. And some might not exhibit the best of their behaviours Price point- Despite its wide array of instruments and space, the price isn't justified especially given the fact that there are other gyms in the area with even more machines in less price Time- Might not be a big issue for many but in 2025 every other gym is switching from 12 hours to 24 hours working time. Atleast when charging this high, they could have given the 24*7 policy. Authority-member interaction- Not the best. Infusion of technology- You'd expect a a modern biometric, card driven gym in the Tollygunge area. Surprisingly it's not that technologically infused

I am writing this to express my deep dissatisfaction with how Starmark Fitness Studio handles customer grievances, especially regarding the matter of revised GST implementation in their membership charges. Despite branding themselves as a "premium gym," the management fails to deliver even basic professional courtesy and legal compliance. Over the past few weeks, I have tried to resolve a straightforward issue i.e., updating my gym membership invoice to reflect the revised GST component, which is a legal requirement for any business operating. Unfortunately, speaking to their accounts department is like talking to a wall. There is no sense of accountability, and I've only received repeated robotic responses such as: 1. "Ma'am is out of station, we have informed her." 2. "Ma'am has spoken to the CA, we will look into it." 3. "Ma'am is not well, hence revised GST was not implemented." It is ironic how "Ma'am" is always absent or unavailable for compliance matters but never has an issue when it comes to collecting membership fees. To make matters worse, they are in direct violation of their own Terms & Conditions. Clause 1 of their payment receipt clearly states: "Membership rates can be revised by the management." Yet, when a legitimate and legal revision is requested to accommodate GST, they act as if they are above the law. While I do appreciate the gym's facilities, cleanliness, and especially want to commend Preetam Dey (trainer) who has been exceptional in his training approach and my training block is going really well, this is where the positives end. No matter how good your infrastructure or trainers are, poor management and lack of accountability will always tarnish your reputation. Overcharging clients and refusing to rectify the billing process is not just unprofessional but also unethical and potentially unlawful. If you wish to retain your members and truly live up to the "premium" tag you claim, it's high time you revise the payment policies.

One of the best gyms in the city, with a wide array of equipments, massive area for workout & top notch facilities like steam, cafe-cum-restaurant & proper parking facilities. Areas of improvement: the Yoga room is currently non-functional. Also, the wifi throughout the gym should be provided to all members, instead of being meant only for their own employees.

Good Gym located on Prince Anwar Shah Road. Helpful trainers. They have a Sauna, a massage room, a cafe and a game zone. Most of the equipment is of Good brands and maintained well. A separate section of cardio, Cycling, Yoga and strength training

I have been working out in Starmark Fitness Studio since July'22 and undoubtedly it has been a fantastic journey till now!..Under the guidance of extremely qualified Trainer Mr.Abhijit Chanda who is the Master Trainer and to name others as well Supriyo Dey, Sagnik Sarkar, Robin Chakraborty and more, there has been a huge transformation in me!!..Not only about weight loss, my strength and stamina has increased manifold and it has helped me boost my confidence!. The attitude "I can do even better" along with my Trainer's support and motivation is what is driving me to achieve great results! The vibrant ambience, the vibrations, cheerful faculty and Trainers is also what is adding to the glamour of Starmark Fitness Studio! Kudos to Starmark Studio and wishing all the best for achieving greater heights in the journey of Fitness!! Just for information they also have an in house dietician who takes care of your diet and BMI along with the yummy cafe food. There's even massage and steam availability. Overall it has been a thrilling journey for me and I wish to continue here as long as possible.
