My first gym visit was both exciting and challenging. The atmosphere was energetic, and the trainers were welcoming. I explored basic machines and tried light workouts. Though my muscles ached, it felt rewarding. It's a motivating start to my fitness journey, and I am looking forward to getting stronger with each session. A great first step.

I searched for a nearby gym and found Fitnet Gym Kasba, Kolkata on August 28, 2025. One of their trainers called me and asked me to visit. Since I was returning from office late in the evening, I visited the gym reception quickly, but I couldn't properly see the gym because it was very crowded and I was already getting late. I asked the trainer and receptionist about packages. She immediately started pressuring me to pay, saying that if I buy right now it will be cheaper, otherwise the price will increase. She told me the yearly package is 6,000, but through her referral she would give it at 4,500 if I paid immediately. I told her I couldn't buy right then, so I will join on the weekend. On 29-Aug-2025, I again called her for package discussion and equipments and she pressured me, saying "Do not delay, I have already talked to management about this. Pay ASAP, and then you can join anytime." She also told me the options were: monthly 1,500 + 500 admission, 3 months 3,500, 6 months 4,000. I clearly told her I do not stay here permanently so I cannot take yearly. Still, she refused to adjust. She had assured me that "we have 3 floors, all having the same equipments," but in reality those were just very basic equipments. The gym turned out to be very small, congested, and not what was promised. Finally, on 30-Aug-2025, I trusted her words and paid 4,500 for the yearly package. Before joining, I clearly asked the trainer -- "If after 4-5 months I don't want to continue, can I get partial refund?" She told me it's totally non-refundable. That is fair, because after 4-5 months refund is not applicable. But just for 1 hour of joining, when I immediately asked for cancellation, refusing refund is not fair at all. After making the payment, I stayed inside the gym for only 1 hour. The gym turned out to be very small, congested, and with very basic equipment -- nothing like what I was promised on the call. I immediately requested cancellation and refund, even offering that they could deduct some charges. At that moment, the trainer started yelling at me and completely refused to refund. After my payment, she even asked me to leave a 5-star review -- which is misleading other people. Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, if a customer is not satisfied with the service, they have the right to request a refund. I am not going again and will not use their amenities after just 1 hour. Holding my entire 4,500 is completely unfair and feels like harassment. I have already filed a consumer complaint. Please be cautious before trusting such false promises.

Gym environment is really OP, every advance machine & instruments work fine, this gym divides on 3 floors and it has open spaces for stretching and free workout and one more thing trainers are always available to give you good advice and they show us right way to workout...

I visited this gym using my FitPass while traveling from Delhi, and my experience was very disappointing. The staff refused to allow me entry because I was wearing my outside shoes, insisting that I needed to bring an extra pair specifically for workouts. As a traveler, I had no idea about this rule -- it wasn't mentioned anywhere on the FitPass app or in any prior communication. On top of that, the gym itself is not at all like the images shown online. The space is much smaller than it appears in the photos, and it feels cramped and congested. Instead of showing understanding, the staff were unnecessarily rude and unhelpful. A simple rule like this should be clearly mentioned beforehand, especially for gyms listed on public platforms like FitPass. This lack of transparency, misleading presentation, and poor customer service made for a terrible experience. Definitely not recommended -- especially for travelers or anyone expecting professionalism and courtesy.

It was a nice experience visiting the fitness gym in Kasba. The admission fee is very reasonable, yet the gym is excellent. Definitely worth visiting and building a good relationship with them.
