After intense consideration I am bound to give this review to this gym. This gym is nothing but a shame. Located in a posh locality of Kolkata but services worse than a community gym. After constant complaints and feedback, the gym owner/management pays no heed to the grievances of the gym members. Broken plates, dumbbells, broken rowing machines, etc have been brought to the notice of the gym owner but nothing has changed, literally nothing. It gives me immense pain to write this because I have been working out in this gym for the last 2 years, but it is what it is.

Had joined the gym with great hopes as it was closer to my house and by the looks of it, the place seemed a little less crowded (works well for me) unlike other gyms. However, post working out for around 7 months I can confidently say that the gym sucks big time. The trainers are however good and helpful. Having said that, the gym is in shambles. Not all AC work, the ones working leak 24*7. The floor is always wet. The water dispenser is left uncovered. Gloomy interiors and basic equipment's like a kettle bell, stepper, adductor machine are missing. The fans work but don't swing. No feedbacks or complaints are taken seriously and only false assurances are provided. And above all, given the condition of the gym, the tariffs for the place is off the roof. Despite such exorbitant tariffs, the gym cannot afford an electronic water filter which is bare minimum a gym is expected to have. The rowing machine is broken since day one and it is still in the same condition. After a lot of hustle, managed to convince the gym owner to get one stepper. But to my surprise, the stepper is of the poorest quality. Every time you pick it up, it just gets dissembled into pieces. Have to mention, that the trainers are really good and have made good gym buddies and probably due to this reason i am still holding on to this gym. Otherwise, this place is a total wreck and sham. 1/10 rating

EQUINOX FITNESS is a Fantastic Gym. Amazing Facilities, top Equipments & great environment. Good Service with Friendly trainer, Super Clean & Comfortable Gym for everyone. Would Highly Recommendable
