Ability Fitness Gym

I was a member of Ability fitness for the last 1 year. Few good things about this gym- The staffs including the trainer Mr Pranab Basanta are all very good . Mr Basanta is a very good and knowledgeable person and he has helped me a lot in my journey towards weight loss. Now about the owner of this gym Mr. Ujwal, he is a very rude person. He is always after the members poking on every single matters . His behaviour is the main reason I have left this gym. He has no job left except harassing each and every members on petty matters .

Mixed Feelings, Mostly Disappointment I'm writing this review with a heavy heart because there's one genuinely bright spot at this gym: Pranab, the trainer. He is absolutely excellent - knowledgeable, motivating, and truly dedicated to helping clients. If this review were based on him alone, it would be five stars. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience is dragged down significantly by the gym's owner and overall management. My primary frustrations are: The AC Dictatorship: The owner has a bizarre and incredibly frustrating policy about the air conditioning. It's only allowed to be on at specific times, regardless of how hot or stuffy the gym gets. Trying to work out in a sweltering, uncomfortable environment because the owner refuses to turn on the AC is just ridiculous and frankly, unhealthy. It shows a complete disregard for member comfort. Broken and Neglected Equipment: A significant portion of the equipment is either consistently out of order or in a state of disrepair. It's frustrating to plan your workout around certain machines only to find them broken yet again. This isn't a one-time issue; it's a persistent problem that shows a lack of investment and care. Filthy Environment: The mirrors are consistently dirty and smudged. It's a small thing, but it contributes to an overall feeling of uncleanliness and neglect throughout the facility. Basic hygiene and maintenance seem to be an afterthought. Owner's Attitude: Beyond the AC issue, the owner's general behavior is often unprofessional and unwelcoming. This creates an unpleasant atmosphere and makes it difficult to feel like a valued member. In conclusion: While Pranab is a fantastic trainer who deserves recognition, I cannot recommend this gym due to the pathetic management by the owner. The restrictive AC policy, faulty equipment, dirty conditions, and the owner's poor attitude make for a deeply unsatisfactory gym experience. Look elsewhere if you want a comfortable, well-maintained facility where members are treated with respect.

First I hate the gym instructor because he is so friendly only with his friends, he doesn't talk to me with a friendly attitude, he doesn't pay any attention to me, he doesn't he be like always talk & laugh only with his friends , every new comer deserve happiness everyone pays for the gym not for free , if he's a gym instructor he needs to teach & lookout for everyone who does right or wrong instead of laughing & talking

Worst gym ever , no hygiene is maintained here , lack of maintenance, no upgrade to new machines , everything is crap , they don't turn on all the AC despite charging 1000/- month.

One of the best gyms in Behala area. You will get a quality training at a very affordable price. It's been a few months I have joined and it has helped me a lot already. In total it is a good experience.
