Bansberia Football Field

It is a huge playground. I went here on the occasion of Kartik Puja, when there was a big fair going on. The fair was quite large as it was organized over a large area and almost all kinds of shopkeepers had set up their stalls. There is also a Karthik Puja Mandap in one corner of the grounds. If you want to visit during puja, you can definitely consider this place. The grounds are very nice and big. Last year we played football here - there was a match between Manikganj Sonali Otit vs Hooghly Sonali Otit. Every year two separate Kartik Pujas are held at this ground and a huge fair is also organized on the occasion. Although the local population is quite dense, the surroundings of the field are very pleasant. It is easily connected to Bandel, Triveni and Kalyani Bridges so commuting is also very convenient.

In this field, there is two different kartik puja organised every year and one big mela also organised for this puja.
