Bad Experience In This Gym. 1. The caretaker doesn't know how to speak properly or respectfully with students & staff. 2. The sports in-charge claims this is the best gym in Roorkee. I would like to ask, how? 3. Equipment is hidden away in the storerooms 4. One side is fully air-conditioned & the other side has no AC at all, this creates a 75% chance of students falling sick. 5. There is no trainer available for beginner students like us, which leads to a 50% to 70% chance of injury. 6. There is no gym in the world where earbuds or headphones are not allowed. Due to this rule, four people often end up arguing over playing songs out loud. Sir, I kindly request, exercise can be done in half sleeves, but only if both sides of the gym have air conditioning. There is a big difference between football and gym -- in football you wear half sleeves, but in the gym, half sleeves are only practical if the entire gym is air-conditioned.We do understand the situation but we students also deserve to be understood. Please upgrade the gym to match the standards of outside gyms.

Gym inside the campus. Fairly equipped. Open to students and staff of IITR. Mornings are fine, evenings are too crowded. No AC. Separate gym for girls on the first floor. The second floor also has a Taekwondo training hall. Good weight lifting culture. It has a water cooler nearby. No discipline of reracking weights, u may have to hunt for dumbbells. Open on all days including Sundays.

Many machines, most of them are old or bhangar but still good enough to work out. Crowded mostly in the evening. If you can train yourself without a coach with not so good equipments, go ahead.

Almost each and every equipment is there as far as basic need is considered. Maintenance is good. Crowded in month of January and around 7pm so go early if want to use required things within time as there will be rows and you'll cool ur heated body which is waste

Awesome every machine is availablr

This is a two floor gym..One has been recently opened solely for girls and other one is for boys..You can find all the things required there.. The gym is well sufficient..It is well maintained and only IIT people are allowed inside..

It opens for limited hours in the morning and evening. Ground floor has more equipments and is accessible to all. First floor is exclusively for females.

I loved it...all Machines are new and updated, spacious, well ventilated but never seen trainer there ...
