I visited Rishikesh in March 2018 for a yoga retreat at 'Yog Amritam' and really enjoyed the spiritual experience. I was made very welcome and was looked after and treated like one of the family. Nothing was too much trouble. The yoga school is situated in a nice quiet location in upper Tropovan and was very peaceful, surrounded by lovely walks nearby where we would often find an old temple and often stopped to meditate. I enjoyed staying at the yoga school and looked forward to Shailendra's yoga classes each morning. He is an excellent yoga teacher and upholds the traditional practice of Hatha yoga in remembrance of the late gurus who handed down the teachings. I enjoyed the nourishing food and the trip to the nearby Himalayan mountains. I have lovely memories of 'Yog Amritam ' in Rishikesh and look forward to returning soon. Thank you for your kind generosity during my stay. I would recommend Yog Amritam to others seeking a spiritual experience or for Teacher Training.
