Vinyasa Yogashala - Best Yoga School in Rishikesh India

It was such a great experience. The certification is totally worth it. You have teachings not only to be a facilitator of yoga but also mantras, mudras, yoga philosophy , yoga anatomy, pranayama.. and during the course you also have the opportunity to experience a trauma healing session, sound healing, excursions etc. The installations are lovely with a pool you can enjoy Sundays. Food is vegetarian but also offer options for vegans and glutten free. It's an intense certification but totally worth it. The friendships you do in here are just wonderful! The teachers amazing and the stuff always willing to help. I would totally come back

I did the 200h ytt. Overall I had a really good experience. The food is good, teachers were amazing, rooms comfortable, staff were awesome (shoutout Binni ), I feel like I really learned a lot in an overall short amount of time. I have a few points of feedback tho. The biggest issue is the construction that was happening next to and in our building the entire 25days of our stay every single day. It was so loud that even with closed windows we could hear it every day all day, even during meditation. Sometimes it would get super loud. I want to say I understand it's a new building and they're still working on it but also you decided to open it already and have students when it's not finished? and I felt the construction really interfered with our learning sometimes. What really went too far was that in our last week (exam week) they started drilling huge holes into the wall right next to our rooms making it impossible to be here because it's so loud and there being dust just everywhere on the corridor. Another thing they could improve is there is essentially no social area to hang out. There's a bit of grass outside but no place to study/ read/ hang out at all. Lastly the yoga mats are stinky to the point where I decided to buy my own. Overall I still give 4 starts because of the knowledge I feel like I gained and how helpful everyone was trying to be and solve issues even when they came up.

Really wonderful and excellent school. Teaching methodology is fantastic when you are in Rishikesh you understand that this is actually the best school by far it's just a little things. The managers are all great. The teaching in the classes are all fantastic. The excursions are nice. They had an Independence Day - They got us all into a group with with the other buildings. We did like a dance. It was amazing on the last night, They had a big party that was amazing too. The teachers are all very highly qualified some come from tribes and they're the only ones they can speak English in their tribes and so you really get the authentic Yogi experience. The accommodation was fantastic. It was clean. The food was good as well. I personally chose this school because I looked at all the top schools in the area and this one had the most reviews and the best reviews and you can see why. all in all I highly highly recommend you choose this school when you're in Rishikesh you'll see that the other schools in the area don't even look nice - they're smaller and these guys are clearly the best in the area hands down. I even got speaking to 2 other people in the in the village and even one guy (he was from India)and he said yeah Vinyasa is the best. It is the most famous Indian yoga school in the country.

Highly recommended!I had been searching for a professional yoga teacher training school for a long time, and I'm so glad I found this one! The studies were in-depth and precise, and the teaching staff was extremely professional. I'm really happy I chose to study here. The location was great. The rooms were comfortable and had everything I needed, and the staff was kind, pleasant, and attentive to every need and request. I highly recommend this place -- I might even come back in the future for another course!
