This is an excellent place to start or continue your Yoga journey in the Yoga capital of the world - Rishikesh! I was also lucky to have a very good batch of colleagues who were incredible and fun loving - so felt blessed . The course is comprehensive and covers the length and breadth of Yoga practice including Ashtanga , Hatha , Philosophy, Ayurveda , Yoga alignment and Pranayama. The teachers have incredible experience and tailored the exercises to our abilities! The food was excellent and we all looked forward to it ! Long journey ahead and a promise to continue on my journey...looking forward to helping my friends practice Yoga back home in the UK !

I had an amazing time completing my 200 hour YTTC at the Vinyasa Yoga Academy. The accommodation and food was great. As for the classes it's a great introduction to Yoga and covers a wealth of knowledge in a short period of time of only 18 days. It's definitely a full on course- so be prepared for a packed schedule - with not a huge amount of time for rest , but it's definitely manageable and so worth it! I would have loved some more time allocated specifically to alignment within the Hatha and Ashtanga classes but I guess it is hard to fit everything in to a short period of time. The meditation, pranayama and philosophy classes were amazing, with the information really clearly explained. We also had an additional Ayurveda class, which is not offered in all schools, with the most fabulous teacher. I have a complete new understanding of yoga after completing the course - and have hugely improved my strength and flexibility. I have learned skills which I will carry through for the rest of my life

Completed my 200hour multi style from this school. What a life changing amazing experience!!! Teachers were a vast wealth of knowledge and encouragement. The cooks prepared delicious meals and all staff were so helpful and welcoming, going above and beyond. This school is tucked away meaning peace and quiet with so many monkey visits. Take the leap to better understand yourself and the origins and way of a yogic lifestyle, you will not regret it!!

Vinyasa yoga academy is such a wonderful and special place. I first booked a short 3-day retreat (which I highly recommend) in January. Then later in march I returned back to do my 200 yoga teacher training as I really loved the school and the atmosphere. The school is located in upper Tapovan which makes a calm and enjoyable environment to do your YTTC. The teachers and the staff are highly professional and makes it feel like home! Thank you so much for everything!

Attending the Vinyasa Yoga Academy for yoga teacher training was truly remarkable. The academy is situated in a perfect spot, close to shops yet surrounded by peaceful mountains. The accommodations were simple and cozy - very grounding. The teachers were outstanding, each one a true expert in their field. They not only shared their knowledge but also made us feel valued and supported. Definitely my favorite part of the entire experience. The food was absolutely delicious. Every meal was beyond amazing, and the staff were all very helpful and respectful. We went on a couple great excursions, up the mountain to see the sunset, to the caves and to the Ganges river. So fun and such beautiful sights. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and I can't wait to return. If you're considering a yoga retreat or yoga teacher training, I highly recommend the Vinyasa Yoga Academy! I recently completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training course in India, and it has been a truly transformative experience. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have taken part in such a comprehensive and enriching program. This course has significantly deepened my understanding of yoga--not just as a physical practice, but as a holistic lifestyle. I now have a much clearer perspective on the true essence of yoga. It goes far beyond asanas; it is a path that encompasses discipline, self-awareness, mindfulness, and inner peace. The quality of the teachings, the dedication of the instructors, and the overall environment exceeded my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this training to anyone who wishes to explore yoga in its most authentic and profound form.

One of the best places to do your YTT at Rishikesh! My experience was truly life-changing. The school is exactly as described, and even better than what I had expected. Its location in a quiet area in Tavopan is perfect for mingling and within walking distance to anywhere. The level of training is exceptional. I completed a 200h multi-style, and it was splendid, catering all categories of beginners or medium levels. The head of the school and Ahstanga teacher, Ashu, is brilliant guy and a pleasure to deal with. Additionally, all the teachers are fantastic. It is worth knowing that this school is part of WorldPeaceYoga across the river, and they mixed all students in several events and excursions when I was there, which it was great! The main guru of the school is Vishnu, he visited during the course, and he is a truly magical being. The building and rooms are great, nothing fancy, just right. The food is very yogi, good and healthy, and you get to clean after yourself, which I think is important and big part of the process. I had the best time ever! Check out my pics. I would not have enough words on how grateful I have been to attend Vinyasa yoga academy for the 200hrs YYT. It was an incredible journey of learning, feeding my soul, meeting beautiful and generous people and all the sharing with all the team!! The location is amazing, central but yet away from the noise and buzz of the streets; making it perfect to a journey of self connection and learning. Teaching, meals, location, premises were of very good quality. I would definitely recommend it and return it for the 300hrs. Price is very reasonable and make the journey struggle free when you have to combine it all. 5 stars experience and a lifetime memory. Thanks again for all the Vinyasa Academy Team
