Namaste ! I highly recommend Rishikesh Nath Yogshala School to pursue your Yoga Teacher Training. The school is on the most beautiful and peaceful side of the Ganga, in Rishikesh, the birthplace of yoga. From the beginning, I felt good there. The staff and teachers are all very friendly, helpful and professional. They cared for our wellbeing and needs. The teachers are top-level: I learned so much in such a short time period. The courses were also very rich and varied,. They opened a vast ocean of knowledge for us to dive into... I also appreciated having such a 'strict' schedule: waking up at 5:30 in the morning, starting with Ashtanga Yoga, to be energised for the day , and making the most of your day. It was, to my surprise, not draining to have such long days, but quite the opposite. I felt more energised. All the activities that were included on our free time were also very fun and engaging: cooking indian meals, visiting the Kunjapuri temple at the sunrise, pick-nicking delicious food by the river, rafting, ... On sundays, you had a free day, and I enjoyed visiting neighbouring places and nature... I miss it very much and I need to come back very soon to see more of India :) Rishikesh is definitely a great place to start when exploring India for the first time as it is quite calm, especially on this side of the Ganga (compared to the other, busier side) I wish you all the best in your yoga journey! and I hope I will see this beautiful indian family very soon ... I had an absolutely amazing time at Nath Yogshala Rishikesh! Studying yoga in India has always been my dream, and this experience was everything I hoped for and more. The location is stunning, surrounded by nature, providing the perfect atmosphere for deep learning and self-discovery. The teachers were incredibly well-prepared, knowledgeable, and supportive every step of the way. The training was intense, but I always felt well taken care of. The school is within walking distance of shops, cafes, and the breathtaking Ganga River, which made the experience even more special. There was never a dull moment, with activities filling each day and enhancing both our practice and understanding of yoga. I am forever grateful for this journey and for the entire Nath Yogshala team. Thank you for making this such an unforgettable experience!

Recommended! When a friend of mine recommended me this place, I just felt I had to be here. The whole experience has come with ups and downs, and so many teachings. Both inside and outside the school. To see and feel me grow into a yoga teacher has been something I'm truly grateful for! I arrived far too shy to step in front of a group and I left confident, with an authentic presence and ready to go out into the world teaching. It was the essence of what I was hoping for. Deep gratitude! Pro's - The teachers were obviously teaching from the heart and giving it there all. I appreciated that. - Rahul and Ravi (owners) sincerely gave their all to accomodate us as best as they could. - The shala was perfect, and during our course we had the luxury of AC'a getting installed! (Since it was 45 degrees, this was a welcoming surprise, for us and the teachers!) - the food 3 times a day was perfect to me, however some started to yearn for something on the streets. But what a luxury to have 3 times a day nurturing food on the table! <3 - the atmosphere of the place, right next to nature was calming and covered in lush green nature. - to experience a beautiful group of people with whom you'll create a special bond for the time being. They felt like family, and I will miss them. - they took us out on beautiful trips to watch the sunrise from a beautiful temple, sit in a meditation cove or have a beautiful day off swimming at the waterfalls. Here teachers could drop their rolles and enjoyed their time off! (I really love our teachers ) - being located in Rishikesh, I felt it's spiritual value. Covered and sheltered by hills surrounding, while mother Ganga streaming lushly through the valley. This place nurtures you. - So many people with the ability and desire to go deep into conversations about life, god or getting to know themselves. - India is said to give you 7 years of life experience in just 1 year. I truly felt that in the best way possible. Con's - for a yogi that's been having a steady ashtanga practice 5/6 days of the week for nearly 2 years, and reading everything I could get my eyes on regarding yoga (scriptures, yoga sutra's etc), and with a deep love for feeling connecting to something higher, I felt there was a overall lacking of depth. The philosophy teacher had to adjust his teachings to the average of the group, which had a lot of people that were completely new to Yoga philosophy. Soon I realized this was not the place, nor the possibility to get deep. Same goes for Ashtanga classes. I had hoped to continue my steady practice, but every class posture for postures needed to be explained, as Asana's were still pretty new to a lot of students. After speaking to Rahul and the teacher about this, they encouraged me to take up my own practice again Mysore style. I felt so grateful! - It would have been nice to have a little bit more time to practice teaching under the guidance of a teacher. Although as I've felt (and I'd say 90% of my class) confident at the end of the course to teach, in my personal stile, one could argue if it was enough. Something positive worth mentioning; After the course I gained quite a fever. Ravi (owner) did not hesitate to let me to stay for another night until I regained some strength to find my next place. (Thank youu!!<3) This is just one of the many examples how they gave their all to help you have the best experience possible. I got exactly what I needed from this course and it's been a journey which I will cherish. Deep gratitude goes out to the teachers who were always there (which is not given in India as I've spoken to students from other schools), and giving their best! I highly recommend this place and if you're thinking of doing this YTT feel free to reach out to me if you have questions through instagram. 'Jordirepkes' All I've left to say is Thank you, thank you, thank you and Namaste Some personal highlights; - Sitting in meditation 6m in the ground. - feeling a deep resonance/energy through chanting Mantra. - Kundalini class that would get me in deep meditation

I absolutely loved this online yoga course! The structure was very beginner-friendly yet offered enough depth to keep things engaging throughout. Each session was clearly explained, with just the right balance of movement, breathwork, and mindfulness. The instructor had such a calming and encouraging presence -- even through the screen, it felt personal and supportive. I especially appreciated the modifications offered for different levels and the focus on listening to your body.

This school made me feel like part of the family. The staff and teachers really take care of you and the school is placed in a peaceful part of rishikesh near the ganga. The knowledge they share with you is honest and authentic. They really want you to understand that yoga is so much more than the asanas, that yoga is about the daily actions, your thoughts, the way you treat yourself and others. I really encourage you to come if you are looking for an affordable option to do your YTT. Groups can be bigger or smaller depending on the date you come, but in either way you will learn so much and be grateful for the experience.
