Pyramid Yogshala - Yoga Teacher Training In Rishikesh, India

Highly recommended! I loved to do my yoga certificate at the Pyramid Yogshala! Everyone was so welcoming and truly caring, the teachers have been amazing and the food was delicious! The location is perfect, close to town, but so beautiful and quiet. There is a little waterfall only one minute away and you have a great view So if you search for a yoga school, that's definitely your sign to join the pyramid family

Doing my yoga teacher training here was an amazing decision. The teachers were super knowledgeable and kind, and the whole experience felt really authentic and grounding. I learned so much--not just about yoga, but about myself too. I met some incredible people from all over the world, and we became such close friends by the end. You definitely don't need to be a yoga pro before coming--just an open mind and willingness to learn. It's an experience I'll never forget!

I couldn't ask for more. For me the most important factor while deciding which school to go to was that the teaching methods are gonna be about real authentic yoga and not just about asanas as we mostly know from western practise. Every single one of them at school welcomed us with open hearts so we had a feeling like we would be a part of the family. Which at the end I really had a feeling we became! I was lucky and my batch was composed of just 7 people, but other batches were bigger around 25 people. It really was a transformative journey. I will never forget all the people I've met and all the support! Except for the part when we all were pretty sick, my personal experience was incredible! During the closing ceremony I cried as a baby which speaks for everything! Thank you all again and future yoga practitioners, don't hesitate to go to the Pyramid. It really is an amazing school!

It was a real blessing to spend a month in this place The school is away from the busy streets, yet few minutes walk away from all the shops. It is all surrounded by nature There is also a stream of water running down just by the school. Definitely a very peaceful place. It was really nice to have dogs and cats around, and also to be surrounded by monkeys jumping on the trees The family running the school are so kind and helpful. All the people working here are always available for whatever we needed, and always with a smile :) I had a personal issue to deal with, and the manager did all his best to help me and make sure that things work out fine for me and that I am safe. The yoga course itself was an amazing experience!! We all enjoyed so much all the classes, and all the teachers were also so kind and always available to answer all of our questions. I felt a lot of kindness and compassion from everyone. We were supported to do our best while being aware of our limits and taking care of our physical bodies not to have any injuries. We received so much knowledge and info from all the classes. The food was sooo delicious, so varied and abundant. We were allowed to serve ourselves as much as we wanted to eat I cant have gluten and each time the food was with gluten, the kitchen staff prepared something for me in the moment. The rooms are very comfortable with all that one needs. Very hot water, extra blankets, and a lot of shelving for our stuff. Beds had proper mattresses. Washing machine was also available though it was out of service for some time. I also really enjoyed the activities that were organised by the school. The meals cooked by Rahul were the most delicious ever!! I would definitely return to this school. Everyday I felt so grateful to be there Nothing is perfect and there is one thing I would have liked to be different. We had many subjects and all the teachers were great but one. The anatomy classes were quite confusing and there was lack of structure in delivering the info. The teacher was also open for all of our questions. That was helpful.

Dear Pyramid-Yogshala Team, thank you so much for letting me have such a great trip with you. The YTTC was full of ups and downs and you were always there for me during the whole time. I was able to get to know myself much better and am travelling back home with a bag full of new experiences in yoga, meditation and much more. At the beginning I wasn't very happy that I wasn't accommodated on the premises of the yoga school, but in a room in accommodation about 5 minutes away. Although it wasn't far away, it was a bit too far to walk for the short breaks between classes. In addition, the location in the 'city' makes it very noisy at night due to the barking dogs and motorbikes. At the beginning we were told that we could move into the single rooms in the yoga school after about two weeks, but when a new course started we were told that the single rooms were reserved for the new students. So if you want quiet nights directly in the yoga school, you should probably insist on getting a room there at the beginning. The food was always freshly prepared and even after 4 weeks there was always a little variety. But you can also eat very well in the restaurants in town. The guys who prepared the food and accompanied us on our great excursions were really great! They made every effort to ensure that everyone had enough to eat and also cooked something extra for students who had a bit of a stomach problem. I felt very safe and comfortable on the excursions thanks to the great supervision of the guys, thank you very much for that!!! Overall, it was an intensive yet wonderful experience for me and I would always choose this school and therefore this great yoga family again!!! This place changed my life. Wonderful introduction to the east medicine in general. It is a great place where to find a way to your inner true self and to your soul. Thank you for everything. After 8 months I still feel like I am connected to everything that I have learnt. I recommend this place so much. Great teachers, amazing atmosphere and surroundings for learning. I love that I have gained sth from each person at this place. Actually, in the whole Rishikesh but Pyramid Yogshala gave me a warm family feeling. My another family. Thank you guys.

An exceptionally unique experience! I completed the 200-hour course and learned so much from the skilled teachers at Pyramid. In addition to the teachers who are always there for you, Nitin is also super helpful and thinks along with you. All in all, an experience I would never have wanted to miss, especially with the incredibly fun and lovely people in my group. You will leave Rishikesh with a group of friends from all over the world. Besides the lessons, they also serve good food, but there are plenty of nice cafes (with really good coffee ) within walking distance. All in all, a month I will never forget! A tip for future students starting in the winter months (Dec-Jan): bring warm clothing! It is incredibly cold, and unfortunately, there is no heating or heater available in the shala where you take classes. Renting a heater for your room costs 100 dollars for a month.

Wow. There are many yoga schools in Rishikesh to choose from but I think Pyramid stands out as one of the best! Set in a perfect location in Laxman Jhula, surrounded by lush greenery, with beautiful yogshalas and epic views. But the best part of Pyramid are the people. The management, teachers, and family made you feel completely at home. They tell you from day one that it is your home and this is your family and they mean it. I loved my cohort of peers also, we really bonded and I made many lifetime friends. It was a life changing experience. I will be back!
