I told teacher Sarah how much I admire her skill throwing out petals of guidance to show us the way through fiddly extended yang sequences. Flying free but never too far away. So she challenged me to share it in a google review It's a gem of a place - yoga/mindfulness studio at the top of Tangi Te Keo (Mount Victoria) with amazing 270 degrees from the city, up the harbour and out to Eastbourne and the bays. Beautiful teachers and atmosphere. It's quite the retreat from city, 5 minutes below ;)

Space Studio must be experienced to be believed. To start, the view simply cannot be beat. Meditating, doing yoga, practicing of any kind while overlooking Evans Bay and the mountains behind is a true privilege. And then, the instructors (e.g., Sarah, Keli, Rosa, Lana, etc.) are such beautiful souls that being with them makes you a calmer being. It is almost surreal how wonderful this place is.

A gorgeous studio with wonderful instructors. New to the area, I felt so welcomed at this studio during my time in Wellington as a home away from home. My experience here was nourishing, juicy, energizing, and restorative. And as an added bonus - we once saw dolphins jumping and playing in the bay during practice! Magical.

Space Studio is a Yoga & Mindfulness Studio with beautiful harbour views. We offer classes and events 7 days a week and we have free car parking outside. We are heated by the natural sun in the summer and in the winter by warming infrared heat panels. This is a modern & architecturally designed purpose built studio (by Hugh Tennent of 'Tennent Brown'). Experience a variety of nourishing classes - from Invigorating & dynamic to deeply restorative.
