Jetts Johnsonville

The trainer was very beautiful and I would love to be exactly like them. One thing I didn't like was the price of just getting a plan from thr PT and then having to pay more for the programme and follow up. That is all.

This gym is very clean and well-maintained. Broken machines are repaired quickly, and the exercise equipment is of much higher quality than at City Fitness Gym. During peak hours NOT crowded like city fitness , where u need to wait for ages to get the dumbell or a excercise machine.

Not the biggest gym in wellington but okay for Johnsonville. The car park is terrible and walking there is difficult because the location is between two busy roundabout intersections. It is very quiet and most times there are no staff. Equipment there is as expected. Not the place for me, I rather do some walking outside instead.

Cool gym, compact but spacious enough with lots of different equipment to use. Great customer service from the team if you go during work-hours. It can get pretty busy during the evenings 6-9:30pm, but I think that's common with most gyms these days.

Edited to 3 star, manager no longer here and I feel bad for people who are struggling with the new phone access. I've also let a courier driver in who also mentioned there's never a manager here... Idk how the area manager position works but during a time of change you'd expect to find someone here during staffing hours. Also saw your ad for the managers position, $25 an hour is a terrible 'managers' pay. 5 star cause the gym is exactly what I need. Has everything I need plus the staff are great. Is always quiet when I go there which is a huge reason I prefer jetts over city. Place is always clean and tidy Some feed back though, I wish it had more updated machines. I've recently been to taupo jetts and there treadmills are so nice. Car park always looks average and could use a good clean. Not huge deals for me hence why it's still a 5 star review. Thanks for cleaning the car park! So much better now.

I feel that this gym doesn't welcome new members. After submitting my application and payment information online, I went to collect the access card around 4 p.m. based on the staff hours. However, I was left waiting outside for over ten minutes without any assistance. Eventually, a staff informed me that the manager wasn't available and I had to come back tomorrow for the access card. Unfortunately, the limited staff hours clashed with my work schedule, and there were no alternative solutions offered. It was a disappointing experience, so I decided to cancel my membership and joined Snap Fitness

Not terrible but certainly not great either. Has gone downhill since Jarrod the old manager left and shame they have reduced their staffed hours. Parking is a nightmare at peak time. God forbid everyone parking along the walls so it's hard to get both in and out. Squat racks are limited to 2 which is reasonable for a small gym but unfortunately they are placed in a way which means people always walk up very close behind you to access equipment on the same wall - which is quite unnerving if you're squatting or deadlifting and someone is walking less than a foot behind you. Equipment that becomes broken is often not fixed for 3-4+ weeks unfortunately which is quite disappointing for the membership price compared to some of the other similarly priced gyms which fix things within a week. There are treadmills here that go up on an Incline but the buttons to bring them back down again don't work - same with speed controls. Lastly, PT Fawaz - very poor example of a PT, lacking knowledge and would be better off in sales with his super talky smily but non results backed approach. Doesn't teach clients proper lifting form - particularly for compound lifts - no retracting/depressing of scaps or proper bracing technique etc and had me pushing at far too high of an intensity. He was more there for a social session than to help me achieve my goals. Also missed multiple sessions in a row with very short cancelation notice and still charged for this. Not impressed.

Addison is awesome. She helped me get started offered great advice and made this little gem of a gym in Johnsonville accessible. Normally because of my autism things like this can overwhelm me but nothing could be further from the truth Let's hope Jett's know what a gem they have!!!
