My Wangapeka retreat experience with Tessa in October 2024 was the perfect way to get away for a week and focus inward. I feel that both my yoga and meditation practices were levelled up by spending concentrated time on them.Tessa is a truly incredible teacher, her years of experience allow her to cater to varying levels of students, build community among participants and create a beautiful sense of calm - all while running the whole retreat smoothly for everyone.I strongly recommend one of Tessa Meek's retreats to anyone who might be on the fence about it! I also took classes in Wellington for a long time before moving away, the whole studio is fantastic.

This is the most body positive yoga studio I've ever been to. There are no mirrors anywhere and they provide all the props (mats, blocks and even chairs ) to support larger bodies like mine. I love that there is zero judgment in the room when I use a chair cause using props is very much a part of their teaching. Gina is incredibly kind, her instructions are clear and modified to cater to those with mobility issues like my weak knees. Their practice is gentle and considerate , reminds me why yoga is for all body types
