I have been training with UP and Alain Moggi for a while now, and the results have been fantastic. Alain has helped me significantly cut body fat, improve overall strength and endurance, and boost my Hyrox performance. Every session is well thought out, purposeful and tailored to my goals.
Alain's attention to detail, technical knowledge, and ability to motivate make a real difference. I had a great experience at Ultimate and specifically training with Sam. I was an unusual case as I joined UP for a period of 6 weeks during which I wanted to use up my 20+ sessions. I had prior experience in working out and nutrition although lack of discipline had made me lose my gains in recent months.
From the very first day, Sam adapted his strategy to my case - setting an aggressive body fat % target while accounting for my level of experience. Given I was doing multiple sessions every week, he designed a balanced program that pushed me at the gym without making my body sore after the sessions, thus allowing me to carry on with life and work as usual. I would also like to highlight Sam's flexibility - once, he and I worked out at 5 AM as I had to catch an early morning flight. His flexibility allowed us to train at a high frequency, thus accelerating my body transformation.
As I finish my 6-week program, I walk out not only more knowledgeable about exercise form and nutrition but also in better shape and healthier overall. Thanks Sam and UP! I would recommend Ultimate Performance and Sam to anyone considering personal training.
Having completed my second 36 session program at UP I can definitely confirm if you believe and follow the process you will achieve the desired result. Guided expertly by my coach Rick (the fitness guru) UP does what many other gyms strive to achieve. I would recommend UP to anybody that wants to lose weight, get fit and adjust their lifestyle to a healthier option. But be prepared. This is not just an occasional workout. It is a structured program with daily monitoring to achieve results. Be committed .
Training at Ultimate Performance Singapore with my coach, Hashrie, has been truly life-changing. I joined in June 2024 with zero experience in weight training, and within just two months, I progressed from a complete beginner to confidently using free weights and a wide range of machines.
The results have been exceptional: my body fat dropped from 18.5% to 11.1% in only eight weeks, I maintained my weight while gaining approximately 8 kg of muscle, and my 5K pace improved from 6:30 min/km to 5:12 min/km.

In the 5 months or so that I have trained with Rick, he has helped me lose body fat, gain lean muscle mass, and even achieve a longtime personal goal of being able to do pull ups, which I'd always thought I'd never be able to do.
None of the above would have been possible without Rick's patience, encouragement and detail-orientedness throughout the entire journey. He makes every effort to understand my goals and my challenges, and guided me closely in changing my eating and activity habits.
When it comes to training, Rick is very detail-oriented and pays close attention to my form and how I am feeling. He provides extremely detailed feedback and is very willing to break down, demonstrate and explain the exercises to me patiently, which is something I appreciate a lot. He has really deep knowledge about health and fitness and I'm always learning something from him each session. He is very mindful of my well-being and progress and has been able to adapt the workouts based on my fitness levels and abilities. He is also flexible and willing to adapt to my busy schedule. Above all, Rick is a genuinely nice, positive and encouraging person and training with him always feels rewarding and fun. I come away from each session feeling that I have pushed myself to my limit, but never that I have been "tortured". I think the part surprised me the most was that I actually always look forward to the next training session.
