Disappointing and Unsafe for Beginners Cult is honestly quite overrated. I had a terrible experience, especially as a beginner. If you're already familiar with gym equipment and workouts or are ready to pay extra for personal training, you might find it okay. But if you're a beginner like me, I'd strongly advise reconsidering. When I joined, I made it very clear that I was a complete beginner and needed guidance. However, no one informed me that proper guidance would only be available if I signed up for a personal training package in addition to the membership. The general trainers on the floor were always occupied with their personal training clients. If you ask them for help, they barely show the exercises, and if you ask again, they just push you to opt for personal training. Due to the lack of proper instruction, I suffered a severe injury (a fracture) at the gym. The trainer had only partially explained how to use the equipment, and with that half-knowledge, I ended up injured and on bed rest for 3 months--an experience that has disrupted my entire routine and affected my career. As for Cult's customer support--it's completely unresponsive. Queries are never resolved through the app or email. I've been emailing them for over 2 months now with no response. When I reached out to the branch manager, I was told only the support team could handle such issues. Not only did I waste my money on the membership, but I also had to bear heavy medical expenses due to their negligence. It's incredibly frustrating. I don't blame individual trainers as much as I blame the management and system that doesn't prioritize safety and transparency, especially for beginners. I hope this review helps others, especially if you're considering this gym as a first-time user. Please be cautious and ask very specific questions before signing up.
