DSF GRAND PLAZA

While it may not be as massive or modern as some larger malls, DSF Grand Plaza scores well on accessibility, cleanliness, and overall vibe. A great place for a relaxed outing or a quick shopping trip!

The location was good. The rooms and toilets were neat. I requested the bedspread and the pillow covers to be changed as I found stains and hair in them. They immediately got it done. The staff is very courteous and ready to help anytime. The complimentary breakfast buffet was fantastic. The variety was good and the food was very tasty. Would recommend this hotel for a peaceful stay.

Booking: I was at DSF Grand Plaza in May 2025. What was supposed to be a few days of business trip was extended to almost three weeks, with couple of extensions and couple of colleagues joining in between. In the entire process, the cooperation extended by the Hotel Management is great. Hygiene: Very well maintained and best in this part of the world based on my experience with few other hotels. Staff: Extremely courteous and eager to help you on anything - be it room service, cooperation in the dining area, reception area. when I saw that there is a gym in the hotel, I wanted to try it, and the staff (not related to Gym, but from Kitchen) observed that I was looking for Gym keys and immediately informed the relevant person and, in few minutes, it was opened and surprised to see even water bottles kept ready. Other benefits: Free Wi-Fi was provided, but as it was Open and not secured, did not use it much. Car parking and place for drivers to relax is good thought. In case someone want to smoke, there is a smoking area in the common balcony with chairs set aside as highway coffee shop. Overall: Great experience. Keep it up

Stayed here for a day. Rooms were really neat and well maintained. Even the perfume in the room was refreshing. Toilets were very neat but hot water was not available in the morning at 6am, may be they are using solar water heater and it may take time to heat. They have Kanni Restaurant in 2nd floor. Had lunch buffet - mutton biriyani was nice but the chicken fry was a little burnt. And ice cream turned into milkshake. They need to keep some chiller to keep it in solid state. Naan and channa masala and chicken gravy from night dinner buffet was good. Triple chocolate desert was really great. Morning breakfast opens at 7 but lot of items gets ready only by 8. Even the coffee was not ready till 7.45. slight improvements needs to be done. And I would advice to add Thoothukudi special items in your buffet menu like the Poricha Parotta and Macroons.

Excellent Stay! I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The service was top-notch, with every staff member--from reception to housekeeping--being extremely polite and helpful.
