Kodaikanal Club

Lovely place to stay for Members and/or their guests. Advance booking required. In house Dining Hall has good freshly made food. Great cottages with good housekeeping. Be aware of the Dining Hall timings. Bar has a dress code. Cozy Library. Well maintained facilities and courteous staff. Ideal for families and middle aged older couples. Children may not like the limited room delivery services. Well located just opposite the lake. Very close to Bryant Park. Lots of cycling options. Recommend the sweaters at The Tibetian market. Enjoyed tandem cycling which is just behind the Club. All in all the Club was hospitable and gave us a memorable holiday.

Quaint and upscale rooms. You need to order food for in advance. Great bar and great staff. Some rooms have direct view to lake.

Originally started by the British, this club still stands as an iconic place in Kodaikanal today; Great place to stay (especially if you know a member of this club). Club has quaint setting in many of the rooms. In most areas of the club, you will find predominant colors are green, red, white and yellow..All throughout the club, landscaping is exquisite especially the flora and the manicured lawns. In the rainy season, it's awesome to take in the view..Halls are big and nice with wooden chairs and some have nice red leather sofas which has a classy feel. They also have a restaurant in house where food is good. This elite club has facilities for sport/games - tennis, badminton, table tennis, a cards room, billiards, even a kids area for tots.They've got a nice fireplace outdoors where a bon fire is lit and makes for a great evening. A large open car park is available as well.

The afternoon was peaceful despite all rooms being occupied. Taught the bar tender a quick way to chill beer. Food was tasty including their desert of bread pudding.
