I had a wonderful shopping experience at Pachaiyappas Silks and Ready Mades, Kanchipuram. The store has an excellent collection of authentic Kanchipuram silk sarees with rich designs, vibrant colors, and very fine quality. They also have a wide variety of ready-made outfits for all ages, which makes it a one-stop shop for the whole family. The staff are extremely courteous and patient, helping us choose the right sarees without any rush. Prices are fair for the quality, and they offer both traditional as well as modern styles to suit different tastes. The staff is very good... Kalpana the staff helped us choosing saree without any hastle.. she attended us so politely and respectfully.. eventhough we were purchasing large number of sarees she did not hesitate and attended us happily... Loved all the sarees and the rate also is in budget

Avoid visiting this shop. We, a group of men, unknowingly entered while helping my North Indian friend look for a silk saree. We saw 20 to 30 sarees within 20 minutes. The ones we liked were priced between 10,000 to 20,000, while the sarees within our 5,000 budget were not appealing. We were confused and decided to walk out, but the shopkeeper pressured us, questioning why we had taken photos and insisted we must buy at least one saree. Feeling forced, we reluctantly bought a 5,000 saree. He claimed it was of pure quality and showed a government sticker to assure us. However, just 100 meters away at the government saree shop, staff checked the saree and told us it was a duplicate. They said the original versions start from 15,000. We were completely disappointed.
