Misleading Membership - Price Manipulation & Broken Trust I joined Epic 7 Gym after visiting with my cousin, who is a friend of one of the gym workers. My cousin helped negotiate the price, and I clearly agreed to pay 4000 for a 6-month membership. This made sense because their 1-year membership was 8000 at the time -- the math was simple and fair. I paid 4000 upfront, believing I was all set for 6 months. But after completing 3 months, the staff suddenly claimed: 4000 was for just 2 months at 2000/month They "gave" 1 month free Now I need to pay 6000 for the next 3 months If I keep paying like this, I'd end up spending 24,000 for a 1-year membership, which is 3 times the original yearly price they advertised. Why would anyone pay 24,000 per year here just for basic equipment -- when I can join other gyms for 14,000 per year that offer not just modern equipment but also steam, sauna, and other premium facilities? I was misled, taken advantage of, and my trust was broken -- especially painful since I joined during a tough time after my mother passed away, hoping to focus on my health. This kind of last-minute change in pricing and made-up explanations (like "we gave you a free month") is unacceptable and unethical. I strongly recommend everyone to get everything in writing before paying this gym. Don't rely on verbal agreements -- they will twist the terms later and put you in a helpless position. Not recommended -- due to false promises and dishonest pricing
