The service was excellent , and the staff was truly wonderful. The food quality was also good. However, the rooms were just okay--they could definitely be more well-maintained. The view from the room, though, was really scenic! The major drawback is the location, which is quite interior. It makes commuting to the city center difficult and feels like a waste of time in travel. I recommend this hotel for the service, but be aware of the distance from the main city area

Our stay at Lemon Tree in Gangtok was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick and efficient. The food was great - no complains at all. The view of the hills from the balcony is breathtaking. In addition, one of us forgot a few of our belongings back in the hotel after checking out, but the staff was very proactive in informing us and arranging for us to receive our belongings back safely. Overall, the hotel is very honest, comfortable, and worth staying at.
