Thank you so much for today's session on mediation. It was an amazing experience. I feel relaxed, calm, and peaceful. During meditation I disconnected myself from the outer world and was able to listen to only your instructions and did the same as directed by you. No negative thoughts, no overthinking. The moment when I realised I was with me only , I felt energetic and happy with my own self. I feel I am smiling throughout the session and I am in some place where there is complete peace. I knew very little about yoga until 6 months ago. A good friend of mine recommended as I had been having shoulder pain, frequent headaches, recurring muscle stiffness, sleep disturbances, leading to restlessness. Whilst I had tried different exercises and dietary advice, I saw very little progress. I also was slowly and steadily gaining weight over the past 5 to 6 years which was frustrating. My friend introduced me to Sona and I joined virtual yoga sessions at Bhaktivedant yoga institute since about 6 months now and I am so glad that I did. I thoroughly enjoy my yoga classes with Sona, I find her techniques and methods so well suited and apt especially for those who are new to the exercises and understanding the benefits. In addition, Sona gave me an elaborate guidance on my dietary lifestyle, and pranayama lessons. I started to feel flexible by the end of the first month, my shoulder pain and headaches have reduced, and my sleep improved. I have also lost over 5kg till date. I feel very motivated to push myself. Sona guides us using tailored methods that suits each individual to be able to listen to their body and practise better. I have been continuing yoga classes ever since. It is important for a beginner in yoga and pranayama to enjoy the journey, understand the postures, exercises and their health benefits, including impact if any whilst also meeting our life goals. It's been a month since I have been into yoga with Sona. What a wonderful experience! I must say that my lifestyle is slowly changing towards being a healthier ME. I understand what I do, how I do and most importantly why do I do. There's an explanation given for every bit of the process. I have started feeling lighter and enjoying the session. The techniques are unique, simple and yet effective. I have enrolled myself into the diet plan as well. The diet is also simple to follow too.
