I've been working out at Gold's Gym for a while now, and overall, I'd say the experience is average -- nothing exceptional, but it mostly justifies the price. The equipment is decent, there's enough variety for most types of training, and the gym is generally clean and organized.
However, the air conditioning remains a consistent issue. It's often either not working properly or switched off during peak hours, which makes workouts uncomfortable, especially in the summer. For a gym of this brand and reputation, basic comfort like proper ventilation and cooling should be a priority.
If you're looking for a gym that covers the basics and don't mind sweating it out a bit more than usual, it might be worth considering. But if AC and environment are important to you, this could be a drawback.

I've been a member here for a few months, and I want to be fair in this review. The gym itself is actually very good. The equipment is modern, there's a good variety of machines, and the overall cleanliness is well-maintained. For these reasons, it deserves some praise.
However, the reason I can't give a higher rating is the behaviour of the trainers on the floor. There is a very noticeable and unprofessional bias in who they choose to help. I have consistently observed the trainers focusing almost exclusively on female members. They will proactively walk up to them, offer unsolicited advice, help with their form, and spend long periods of time chatting.
In stark contrast, the male members are almost completely ignored. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner struggling with form or an experienced lifter trying a new machine, you will find it very difficult to get any attention or assistance from the staff. It feels like you are on your own.
All members pay the same fee, which should include the support of the training staff. This selective approach is unfair and creates an unwelcoming environment. I hope the management addresses this and trains their staff to provide equal attention to everyone, regardless of their gender.

The gym has some positives but also several areas that need improvement. The equipment is quite good and well-maintained, and the ambience is genuinely nice -- clean, spacious, and motivating to be in.
However, the air conditioning is not very effective, which can make workouts uncomfortable, especially during peak hours. The trainers are not very proactive or engaged, and don't seem particularly interested in guiding members. There also seems to be a lack of basic knowledge about nutrition or weight loss advice, which is disappointing if you're looking for a more holistic fitness experience.
The staff can be a bit discourteous at times, which affects the overall vibe. It's an "okay" gym if you're self-motivated and mainly there for the equipment, but don't expect much support or expert guidance
