There is a lot of self discovery to be done. When your body is in pain and all you want is to stop, you find out what you're capable of. Having good genetics is a HUGE plus but not everyone does. If you do, it's much easier to love the gym. People respect you to a certain extent, without knowing you. the discipline that you got from going to the gym consistently and following the proper diet will carry out into every other aspect of your life. Lifting heavy weights is such a great feeling, and watching yourself progress day by day month after month year after year is an amazing process. You feel like you can do anything. Lastly, it's just plain addictive. Like a snowball effect. Honestly, I've loved it from day one and I don't think it will ever start
