PWD Rest house is a nice green area for fitness. You have a circular track for jog and grounds where kids can play cricket. Additionally government has done an awesome job by putting various outdoor games for kids and open gym equipment for adults. Also the monumental building here attracts to be spouse couples for wedding photography :-). Normally the place is busy during early morning but In winters you can find good crowd lots of kids in afternoon too. Overall a very nice and excellent place.

It is a good place for resting and walking in the trees away from housel of town and the ting that maks it more sooding is that it have cafatirea and an open gym..it also have rides for children in wich parents can see thair children play and play with tham and there is sufficient space for playing . Have a veey beautiful scenery. Have old building that are in very good condition.

The only place of note that has beautified Faridkot. This park cum administrative office cum pathway is frequented by people from every walk of life. There is something in it for everyone. A mini amusement park for kids, a park in the middle for picnic or other amusements, an open air gym for the health cautious, ample sitting space for the elderly and about 600 metres long pathway for leisure walking, running or jogging whichever u dig. There is even a cafeteria which i cant say is meant for food lovers but still serves decent food. A little note to the administration to look into the eve teasing incidents that often go unnoticed because of the reluctant nature of the female crowd.

Its known as darbarganj locally or rest house simply. I am going there now to do cycling. Evening walk point. Hawkers present. Open gym also. A cafe adds to the scene. Also swings for children. A stage for events and playgrounds add to it.

The nicest place in city where family with their children can go for some piece of fun and recreation. The swings are installed for the young children whereas the senior citizens and adults can go on for brisk walking in the grass or over the road
