The Chanakya BNR Hotel

This is a heritage hotel from IRCTC. The hotel is well located. The golden beach is around 2kms from here, the blue flag beach is also on the way to the golden beach. You can go to watch the sunrise to the nearest Niladri beach which is at a walking distance. They also have a nice swimming pool, a small gym. The aesthetics of the hotel is of a royal building, the interiors are very sophisticated. We had lunch at their restaurant - the food was great, keep in mind to order both your appetizer and main course at the same time as the preparation time is around 20mins. Everything was tasty, we had soup, fish kebabs, chicken malai kebab, crispy corn, jeera rice, naan, tandoori roti, rajbari chicken curry, chicken dopyaza, veg dopyaza. For the seven of us, the bill came out to be around 6k.

Jai Jagannath. I love you and love this. Sure my high stars rating will make it tougher for me to book rooms now due to vacancy. Amazing chef. Top hospitality. It feels Indian but ancient Indian class variety love caring taste & caring. I & my amazing wife had incredible time of life. We had 2nd honeymoon. I love how caring understanding thoughtful chef & chef's team (how they try to give us bespoke dishes as per seasonal availability and state availability) how good the cleaning stuff are. Incredible hotel management! Keep it up hell open another branch in same city . Open more rooms.

For the August 15th holiday, I spent three nights at this hotel. The establishment is top-notch, a genuine heritage hotel that epitomizes luxury. The rooms are exceptionally spacious and immaculately clean. The staff were courteous and extremely helpful. The only drawback was the lack of a sea view, which was entirely obstructed by a building situated directly in front of the hotel. On a positive note, the restaurant's food was of very high quality.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel...And there is one staff his name Rudra he were exceptionally welcoming & attentive making me feel right at home from the moment i arrived....The rooms were spotless comfortable & well-appointed with all the amenities i needed for a relaxing stay....The location was perfect i also enjoyed the on-site dining options, which served delicious meals with great variety.....overall an excellent experience that i would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area....i look forward to returning on my next trip....!!!!

We (group of 7 members)stayed at BNR Chanakya Puri from Sep 1 to Sep3, 2025. We enjoyed our stay and awestruck by the grandeur of the hotel building. The property is magnificent and maintained so well. The staff, including Mamta, at the reception counter, are so well mannered and helpful and ensured to make our stay comfortable. Food is fresh and tasty and we never had a problem in that front. Thought they can add a few more varieties. I highly recommend this place. Looking forward to future visits too.
