Our stay at Hotel Sreehari, Puri was extremely disappointing, and I strongly advise others to avoid this property. While the location may seem decent, the overall service and attitude of the staff completely ruined the stay. Exception was Mr. Durga Prasad. He was very courteous. Unprofessional Behaviour: Basic courtesy was missing - no greetings, and any request was treated like a burden. At no point did we feel welcomed or respected as guests. Housekeeping Standards - Appalling: The room was in poor condition upon arrival - dusty surfaces, very small bathroom, cockroaches in cupboards, very old Furnitures where the side table was absent and only a raw plywood block was present and dirty linens. To make matters worse, the so-called "cleaning" was done with shoes on, and no mopping was done at all. It was clear that hygiene is not a priority for this hotel. Even after repeated complaints, there was no proper follow-up or improvement. Ultimately, our travel agent intervened to resolve the matter. Drinking Water - It was a shocking experience to know that there is no RO filter in the hotel. They provide two litres of mineral water per day. Post that, you either purchase from them or outside. Its difficult to believe that in today's time, a hotel who claims itself to be a 3-star hotel, doesn't have RO water facility. There is no swimming pool or massage parlour as claimed in their website. Even the room pictures in their website do not match the actuals. Check-Out Mismanagement: This was the final straw. We were told by our travel agent that check-out would be at 12 noon. However, the hotel suddenly demanded that we vacate the room by 8 AM without any prior communication. When we tried to clarify the discrepancy, the staff (Mr. Hari and Mr. Arun) were very rude and dismissive. We were insulted by their words and the tone of their speech. Their conversation with our travel agent was in a very bad note with slangs being used towards the agent. The whole experience felt like a deliberate attempt to cause inconvenience. This hotel clearly lacks basic hospitality standards, cleanliness, and transparency. I do not recommend Hotel Sreehari to anyone looking for a comfortable or stress-free stay in Puri. There are far better and more reliable options in the area.

We stayed here for 3 days in their Deluxe Family Suite having a big terrace alongwith a great view of the Golden beach. The location of the hotel is just beside the famous light house. The hotel is having a cozy environment where the bathroom and other maintenance still have scope for improvement. Room service and housekeeping is also remarkably delayed.

The hotel room was amazing. It consists of balcony and the view of ocean from the hotel room was beautifully scenic. You can also watch the Shree Jagannath Temple from the balcony. There were also table arrangement from where you can watch the beautiful views. The bathroom was well cleaned and we stayed for 3 days. The cleaning staff used to clean the room once a day. The buffet system was arranged for the breakfast in the morning. These morning breakfast were complimentary. You can order the food to your room by landline or got to restaurant and have a meal. The food contains local cuisine such as chena poda and Indian cuisine. The location is also nice as transportation to the nearby areas is easily available. The beach is just by the hotel. The beach Market is 10 minutes from the hotel by e-rickshaw. You can also get auto rickshaw or cab from the hotel to the Jagannath Temple. The room services were good and really responsive. The washroom was also well maintained. Checkout time is 8 am. The rooms also contains mini fridge with snacks and biscuits. It also has electric kettle with complimentary instant tea and coffee.

Worst hotel stay in my entire holiday experience's. They don't even provide basic services. This property has no sense of hygiene and rooms were horrible. They demands extra money for darshan in temple. And it's better to stay in any Dharamshala than this hotel.

I would give **minus 5 stars if Google allowed it**, but sadly 1 star is the minimum. Just leaving this review to save someone else from this awful experience. Extremely disappointing experience at Shree Hari Hotel, Puri. We had an advance booking for 2 days costing 11,000, but the reality was far from what was promised. 1. We were assured a second-floor room over the phone, but upon arriving at 9 PM, we were given a first-floor room instead, with the excuse that it was an "upgrade"--clearly not the case. 2. Parking was another false promise. They claimed to offer free parking, but on arrival, it turned out to be road-side parking. When we raised concerns about security, we were told that CCTV is installed or use government parking for an extra charge. 3. The room was just above the restaurant. It was noisy, full of strong food smells, and the heat from the kitchen made the room extremely uncomfortable. When we complained, the manager simply said everything would stop after 11 PM--no concern for guest comfort. 4. The restaurant staff were rude and unaccommodating. We arrived a bit late and at exactly 10:29 PM, we were told to place our order within a minute or they wouldn't serve us. No flexibility, no basic hospitality. 5. Hot and cold water supply was unreliable throughout our stay. This hotel is absolutely not worth the money. For the same price, you can easily find much better hotels nearby with better service, facilities, and respectful staff. Don't be fooled by the pictures or false promises--avoid if you care about comfort and peace.
