Hotel Niladri Puri

Located near Puri lighthouse, the location is the USP of the hotel. The staff are helpful and the food is excellent. The rooms though spacious are archaic. They desperately need revamping. The cleaning of the rooms could have been better. Everything is utilitarian in the rooms but for the price, it needs some modern touch. Overall, I had a good stay with my family here.

The hotel is a good option for a peaceful stay. We booked Room 102, which had a full sea-facing view--absolutely stunning and the highlight of our stay. However, the hotel's maintenance left much to be desired. For the price we paid, it didn't feel worth it--seemed like we were mostly paying for the view. There were also issues with the restaurant service. The manager was rude and insisted on charging extra for coffee, even though it was supposed to be included with breakfast. That said, the rest of the staff were polite and helpful. The food was average. There's no lift in the hotel, so we chose a room on the first floor. Overall, it was a decent stay mainly because of the view, but there's definitely room for improvement.

Wonderful experience staying at this hotel. Situated at a great location; the hotel has beautiful, spacious, clean, rooms. The food at the restaurant is also good. However the best thing about Hotel Niladri is the staff. Each and every single person working here; seniors, managers and general housekeeping service alike, are all very well behaved, polite, efficient. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone I know.

One of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. We stayed in Rooms 6 and 109, and both were in unacceptable condition. The bathrooms were extremely dirty -- with strong urine odors, broken wall tiles, and rotting doors. Bed linens and pillow covers were stained and appeared unchanged, which was very concerning. For the total price we paid, we at least expected basic cleanliness. Thankfully, we managed to get some extra bedsheets. The beds are dirty and realy old. The interior needs a huge makeover. Overall, a deeply disappointing stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hi The location of the hotel is the only good thing about it. The staff isn't co-operative at all, especially the Kitchen Staff. They are extremely rude and don't care about your personal preferences. The hotel is not at all friendly for children. We had an extremely pathetic experience here. Will never recommend this hotel to anyone.
