This is a really good hotel in Dimapur and in its category one of the best in Dimapur i think. Very close to the railway station as well, you could walk as well. Restaurant food is also pretty good quality and staff is well behaved too. A truly good deal actually.
Its a nice hotel with very close to Dimapur railway station. Rooms and washroom were good and clean. Amnities too were decent. Even the charges (1500 if booked online) for a double non ac were reasonable. If you are looking a room nearby railway station , this is the one!
The rooms are a bit dated and they don't have all the amenities of some of the other surrounding hotels, but the staff are so good and friendly. They routinely go so far beyond what I've experienced at the other hotel. Thanks to everyone there, including staff and receptionist, we had a fantastic time. On a side note, Opus, the owned restaurant on premises, rivaled any other on the hotel. 4 stars for their conch chowder, and I'd challenge anyone to find any better throughout the city!
A friend of mine recently booked a room in this hotel and i went to meet him since its been a long time and the receptionist girl said Visitor are not allowed since its already 8 pm , We requested them for an hour stay Not for OVERNIGHT but she said we need to stay in the lobby !! I really don't appreciate the policy of this hotel , We Paid so We have The Right Until and unless we are doing something Crazy Frankly speaking !! And i have Visited lots of other hotel around Dimapur But This Is one of the worst i have ever Experience !! Will never recommend this hotel Ever , Wish i can rate 0 star . Point 2 : reply to your answer M very grateful for your knowledge regarding hotel grand lotus policies , and i respect your policy but if thats so then i would never ever book a room there or would ever recommend anyone of my colleagues/friends to go there !! Relatively good hotel! It looks great. All tile and glass. I'm not a smoker and stayed in a smoking room. Didn't realize it so yeah there was a smell. Food was hit or miss but fresh. Breakfast made to order at no extra cost. Other than that...for the area and the price, there's nothing to complain about real. The rooms only have Indian sockets. Not International. So, foreigners be prepared. No mosquito net but they have plenty of anti-bug humidifiers. I didn't see one bug in my room. Beautiful lounge and bar on the first floor. Large window design of the hotel gave plenty of light. Great view of the skyline from the roof. The staff are the best part about the hotel. All of them are uniformed, spotless, professional and eager to serve! Dolly, one of the receptionist, was awesome! She really helped me out in explaining the neighborhood; and, in helping me find worthwhile venues. Venues that had unreliable info on Google. She's top notch! But thanks again to all the staff!
