Gym Italy

Super friendly gym. Price for single entry is EU15. Guy with the beard speaks excellent English, very helpful and friendly. Came on a Monday morning and it was so quiet. They only have 1 squat rack, but no one else used it the whole time I was there. Loads of machines and dumbbells. Separate functional fitness room too. The contact details online aren't totally up to date, so I attach a photo of the right details. Not an advanced gym, but got all the basics if you're looking for a work out while in Bari.

Need to write this review maybe owners will take attention and change something 1. Personnel is really amazing, friendly, helpful and most of them speak English. 5 Stars for the personnel 2. Worst part of the gym is changing rooms, you are forced to change your clothes in shower cabinets, where the floor is wet, you can't avoid getting your shoes or socks wet while changing clothes, in common area you can't change clothes because there is no benches and no doors for changing. 3. Not enough machines to work out for your legs, no glutes machine, nothing for hips abductor muslce groups. The only one abductor that exists has max 8 kg (8level) to work on it, which is not enough. So in total paying 79 euros per month and not having these issues solved I can't give more than 1 star review.

By the entrance you will always be welcomed with a smile and worm greetings by master of the house Mauricio. You will be helped with any issues and all your questions will be answered. All the personal trainers are nice, friendly professionals with university degrees. If you are an English speaker, the English-speaking trainer will be assigned to you. It's never crowded, so you can have plenty of space for yourself. All the facility are brand new, the gym was open in 2019. But I must say that the gym Italy is the most friendly place in Bari you will meet here people with big muscles but even hearts. No matter how many times a week I am going to the gym, I always want to come more and more. Great place to find motivation for workout and wonderful friends.

Great gym for the traveler. They have a very affordable day pass option and an amazing selection of gym equipment (looks to be close to new). Much better than most of the gyms I have used while traveling. The staff are amazing and very accommodating. Facility is very clean - including the rest rooms and showers.

EU15 day pass. Dumbbells to 50. One squat rack. Fair amount of weight lifting machines. Serious lifters may find it lacking, but will be ok for most people. Expensive for what is available. Location is hidden at the end of the alley under their Gym Italy sign. Appears that on Sunday the front gate is closed, and you have to enter through the back alley to the south.

Ciao, to all Here is Desi. I visited the gym yesterday, because the one I liked was closed for couple of days. Mario met me, friendly man, helped me to complete the form and here I am I was able to use the gym. Day pass EU15!!! Just to underline that I had to travel in Italy and because I wanted to keep fit the only what suited me was day pass. I find very challenging finding gyms that are open in an early morning/working on Sundays/ open 24:7/ or gyms that offer day passes. So the gym itself looked clean, not too busy although after 7 & 8 o'clock you can notice that more people were there. Unfortunately, I find the price very unfair for what it's offering I did not see sauna, neither pool, neither steam room for this money. Let's not comment that there was no enough room for stretching and people have been making room wherever they find place using the mats. Furthermore, the domestic was doing cleaning in the morning. I find that strange. When you go to train you don't want hoovers or else around. Some of the machines were a total joke such as the hip abductor and adductor- that needs replaced. Accessories for your barbels such as padding you need new. The treadmill I just find strange that 10 min, with 15 incline and speed 7.3 burned 50 calories that is really no to reality... Additionally, the weights such as for the machines and for the barbell- you don't have small kilograms 1.25 kg .Sometimes, people needs that small difference. And to conclude, no one almost no one, clean the equipment. They use their own towels when using benches or else machines. This is not only in this gym but almost everywhere I were, and a very few people actually spray and wipe after themselves. I don't get that how this make the equipment clean when your towel evaporates your sweat and it's damp, just found that strange. The owner has to go around and see what other gyms offer for the money because this was far overpriced. Just an example Iron gym 5 sessions -EU60 if you are in Bari for a week I was not. Fitness Lab brand new gym with very exciting machines and super space -EU10 and it's open on Sunday! As I told Mario isn't best price. However, I was travelling that day, plus lots of things were going on and I needed to distress that day and wanted an early gym and due to the fact that my favourite was closed and iron gym was not offering any day passes I ended in gymitaly. Anyways, I did my training for this money a free bottle of water would be a * more. Thanks, Desi

The gym is closed to the Bari Centrale train station. You just need to show ID and pay for 15 euros for a single use. The Windows were opened and it was breezy at night in the high teens, so that was cool enough for a work out. It is not particularly large but the selection of machines is adequate. The dumbell rack is not paticularly all designed for the dumbells. It is hard to lift up hall of the dumbells as there are two or three diferente brands and designs of dumbells but they are all stacked on the same rack.

It is an amazing place! A lot of fitness devices and equipment, big space, clean and well-kept. All people are always so friendly, smiling and helpful! Very experienced and competent instructors. I highly recommend to everyone!
