Great gym with excellent facilities and a motivating atmosphere! The equipment is well-maintained, the space is clean, and the trainers are supportive and knowledgeable.
I wouldn't want to give even a star but without this, my review won't be accepted.
They might have the best equipments, large space, looks luxurious and all this and that but the behavior of the staff(s) (front desk, name not asked but can definitely find out) was really obnoxiously rude!!!
It was my first experience, and went there to experience the Martial Arts training(to experience muay thai training in a new environment) otherwise I am training from a different gym. The coach there at UFC was personally known to me so he invited me to have a first hand experience just in case. I was reluctant but out of sheer respect for the coach and my own enthusiasm I went for the training.
After the training was over, me and my friend who was already training there went to the locker room to refresh. We were taking steam bath and actually didn't expect anyone to enter at that moment so hung our fresh towel and change of fresh clothes inside the shower room. After everything was done, we came out into the locker room area and were getting ready and stuffs, just then this particular front desk staff, a lady, dash inside and with her high pitch voice started rambling about the clothes hung inside the shower room. Yes, I admit it was my mistake and shallow mindedness to do that but we were just inside the sauna room, next to bathroom only.
Her words and tone made us furious rather than feeling embarrassed or apologetic. She went on saying, complaints were received from other customers, and we were asked to throw these unknown belongings. That was the last straw for me.
However, I did apologise but then did tell her, yes I made a mistake but throwing my things would definitely make me angry and it's my first time so I wasn't really aware.
Even my friend explained that too, besides there was already a used towel and an old undergarment hung inside one of the 3 bathrooms, they thought it was ours at first, but we rectified it.
She could have explained in a nice and professional manner, I hope it doesn't harm them, well if they were properly trained. Just because it's a gym doesn't mean they have to rude.
People come to the gym to get fit, healthy not to be emotionally and verbally harassed for a mistake which did happen out of lack of knowledge. It's not like my friend did before, not sure of other customers does that prior and we were just the unlucky ones today .
But if this kind of attitude of the staffs is really normalized over there then it means they lack proper training and professionalism.
