recently joined The Square Studio for their dance class, and I'm loving it! The studio's in a great location, and the atmosphere is so welcoming. Whether you're a pro or just starting, they make it easy to jump in. They also have a lot of other fitness options like Yoga and Pilates, so you can mix things up. The staff is amazing, and the place is super clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend it if you're in Powai!

Plus, they have fitness classes like aerialYoga, Zumba, bollyfit Pikates and Kravmaga. If you're a parent, they even do kids' classes like Lil Dancer!

I've been attending Aerial Yoga classes at The Square Powai, and while the classes themselves are enjoyable, I've found some of the policies to be frustrating and unfair. One of the biggest issues is that the studio has strict policies regarding missed classes, but these are not clearly communicated when signing up. For instance, Tara can cancel classes last minute, which is understandable, but if members inform the studio in advance about planned leaves or personal situations, these are still considered as missed classes. Even medical emergencies don't seem to be taken into account, which feels unreasonable. The lack of transparency about these policies upfront is disappointing. Had I known about them, I would have considered whether to sign up in the first place. Clear communication from the beginning would have been much appreciated. It's important for studios to be upfront about policies, especially when they could impact members' experience. I hope the management can review these policies and how they are communicated to new members to avoid any future misunderstandings.
