I had a wonderful dining experience at The Fern Hotel, Karad. The restaurant service was excellent - everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful.
We tried both the Maharashtrian and North Indian Thalis, and they were authentic, tasty, and perfectly prepared. The highlight was the sizzling brownie with ice cream - absolutely mouth-watering!
Special thanks to Mr. Saurab Parit and Mr. Saurab Desai for their amazing service. Their warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism made our experience even more enjoyable. Keep it up!
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Karad.

Looks Good Online - Total Disappointment in Reality
Don't get fooled by the photos! The pictures show a "king bed," but in reality, all the rooms have single beds unless you pay extra for a suite. Not exactly what I'd call *cosy*.
There is way by which they are joining two beds and making it king bed, which I must say is not comfortable.
The bathroom basin was choked and clearly not cleaned properly -- disgusting.
Breakfast? According to their menu card, it's supposed to start at 7:00 AM, but even by 7:30, no one picks up the phone for room service. If you go to the buffet, you'll find zero tea, coffee, or anything hot. What's the point of advertising breakfast if you can't even serve it?
Ordered tea came at 0740 am which was not hot but warm and without stirrer ! they had billing issue so could not give bill at that time while giving tea !!
In bathroom they don't have hand showers , when requested housekeeping for shower cap or bucket -mug , answer was due to some wedding going in they have lack of resources .
After insisting staff agreed to arrange shower cap .
Location - Convenient
Service overall is *below average* at best -- completely unprofessional and careless. Definitely not worth !

I had a pleasant stay at The Fern Residency. The location is great, the staff are polite and professional, and the food was really good. Special thanks to Mr. Gauvar for taking such good care of the service - his attention to detail made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

The service is excellent. This time we were attended to by Ms Hlui. She was very attentive and helpful.
Restaurant staff is excellent. Food is a bit spicy.
The sore point is the hotel upkeep. They really need to look into it. The fittings in the room and bathroom have become old. The walls look dirty in the entire hotel.
Could also do with a salon. An alcohol shop has opened up right on the entrance of the hotel which is kind of a minus too.

We stayed at The Fern at Karad from 19 to 21 September in a group of 9. Stay was very comfortable and we were looked after very well. Rooms are good but little smaller compared to other Fern properties in the same category. Food was delicious and spread had good variety. Other attractions were good-sized pool and pool-side restaurant. Overall it was a beautiful experience. And I personally thank Mr Shahid and Mr Umar for all the help in booking and during our stay at the hotel.
Keep going team 'The Fern Karad'
