Objectively speaking, Kasrat was one of my favorite gyms that I have had the pleasure of working out at. It was special in more than one way, and it has its USPs and was charming in a surreal manner. What made this place special? Read ahead to find out.
You're greeted by a portrait of Lord Hanuman Ji (who's always there to spot you on bad bench press days haha) once you enter the gym. The space is well lit, clean and well kept, you can see it by the way Mayank sir has maintained the gym. The equipment is well maintained, the weights are plenty (for powerlifting buffs like me), and the dumbbells go upto 40 KGs, which I felt is enough. 2 adjustable benches, one straight bench which was alright I guess, a great Deadlift platform and a half squat rack, which was shabby to say the least, and has caused trouble LOL, but it is just me nitpicking now. The crowd is meh, mostly college going students who are still figuring their own stuff out, or folks who are well acquainted with the owner / gym's trainer(s), so, if you're going to come here solo like I did, socializing won't be as breezy as you'd think you'd feel by joining any club so to speak.
The Deadlift platform was crazy good and hard, well laid out, the space is well utilized, there are not too many machines, but most of the crucial ones are present, which is actually nice. Jerai equipment is great for the most part, although, I'd have loved to see some Hammer Strength style pressing machines, and some form of chest supported rowing machines, which the gym lacked, and I sourly missed those. The Deadlift platform was the USP, along with the Deadlift jack: no more breaking your back taking / putting the weight off / on the bar, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The bars were heavy and the knurling dug deep into the back while squatting (hence the use of squat pad in the video accompanying the review), which is usually an inconsistency you'll come across a lot of gyms in Bhopal. There's not a lot of space to park your cars out there, it's a street parking, so, parking-at-your-own-risk situation.
The gym is fairly priced, the services provided are not a lot, but I think you'll get a pretty decent ROI if you decide to workout here. I spent 4 months here, and got decent gains, strength and size wise, although, I did my own programming as an aspiring powerlifting / strength and conditioning coach myself.
Overall, a solid 4/5 s for the gym.

From the moment I joined, I was impressed by the facilities and the high quality of the equipment. The diverse range of training options has kept my workouts fresh and engaging, while the knowledgeable and supportive staff have been instrumental in helping me reach my fitness goals. The friendly atmosphere and the commitment to maintaining a top-notch environment make each visit enjoyable. Overall, "KASRAT" has exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to continuing my fitness journey here.
The first impressions fantastic. The first couple of visits even better. The feel of the gym, the coloured lighting, the spaciousness and large choice of equipment is brilliant. I saw disaster change in my body Highly professional trainer
