I took classes with Roli in December 2023 on yoga philosophy. What an amazing enriching experience it was! I had harboured some thought of having at least an idea of what yoga was all about, but I quickly realised I really did not have a clue.
Roli has a vast amount of knowledge on the subject and an energetic and friendly teaching style. She is calm, open to questions and can find different ways of explaining things to ensure that as a student you are taking in the concepts. If you are looking to deepen your practice, taking her class is a must. It has completely changed the way I see yoga and instilled a respect for the practice that has a transformative power.
For anyone who is academically interested in history and philosophy she is blessed with real clarity of expression so you will gain lots of new information but in an organised and digestible way so you will leave with a richer understanding that will stick with you.
