Rishikul Yogshala - Best Yoga Teacher Training School In India

I just completed my 300-hour training here, and unfortunately, I would not recommend this place. It is not really a yoga school but rather a resort that happens to have hired a few teachers. The management was neither helpful nor friendly -- they mostly just hung around the property without speaking to anyone or even smiling. The yoga shala was very poor, and the equipment (mats and bolsters) were the cheapest possible and never cleaned. There was also a large renovation going on in the neighboring building, so it often felt like living on a construction site. The rooms look beautiful in the online photos, but those rooms are not for the yoga students -- they are reserved for other resort guests. Because the property is so close to the sea, things tend to get moldy quite easily. The teachers and staff were lovely, but overall, the experience was disappointing.

If you are a beginner or someone looking to reduce stress, Rishikul Yogshala is a great choice. It offers quality teaching and a welcoming atmosphere.

I truly appreciated how balanced and thoughtfully designed the program was. The food was fresh, healthy, and full of variety. It supported the training beautifully. Accommodation was simple and clean--just right for focusing inward. But more than anything, what made this training special was the warmth and support from everyone at the school. It felt like being part of a family. I met wonderful people from around the world, and we shared something truly special. I now feel confident to start teaching, but more importantly, I feel more connected to myself. I'm so grateful for this experience and would recommend Rishikul Yogshala Kerala to anyone looking for a genuine, heart-centered yoga training. Thank you for everything!

I joined the 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training but stopped after 200 hours due to very poor conditions and disorganization. Continuous construction noise from morning to evening made it impossible to study or meditate. The management was absent, the course had no real structure, and facilities were badly maintained. I was refunded only part of the amount I paid (USD 1,000 out of 2,800). Unfortunately, this has been one of the most disappointing yoga experiences I've ever had.

Completed my training here and had an amazing experience. The teachers are knowledgeable and very supportive. Loved the peaceful atmosphere and detailed classes. Highly recommend this yoga school to anyone looking to deepen their practice!
