Our yoga teacher training centre at Mathatitu Yoga Varkala, Kerala provides professional yoga training classes, yoga and ayurveda retreats, ayurveda courses and complete yoga teacher training courses (yoga TTCs) in its most authentic form, from beginner to advanced levels. The Ashram is known for its authentic yoga teachings and its stunning beach-front location. Each one of us is unique, and we believe that through personal awareness, this can be reflected in our individual practice sessions. Founded in 2014 by Yogacharya Anoopananda, Mathatitu Yoga Varkala seeks to teach, enrich, and invigorate, all within the stunning surroundings of Varkala Beach.

The yoga experience at Mathatitu was wonderful from A to Z . When you are there you feel safe and at home. The quality of teaching is of high level with the best professors of the yoga community. Food is freshly prepared everyday by two wonderful cookers and the result is just fantastic. Thanks Mathatitu for giving us the chance of learning the path of yoga. This was a wonderful place to do my 200hrs TTC. I wanted to go deeper with my yoga practice and knowledge, and this gave me everything and so much more too! The level of teaching is very high and it was lovely being by the sea for dips in between lessons. The food, staff and rooms were great and I met a wonderful group of fellow students. I first did the 200 & 300h TTC on line and then I visited twice, the first time for the 300h TTC and then to practice. Teachers are the best, premium teaching material is provided both in the online course and the in person, the food is vegan, satvic and delicious, varkala cliff is a paradise on earth. For me it has been a life changing experience. Highly recommended, I wouldn't think twice about it

I had a great staying in Varkala, I loved the the beach Ashram, I could completly focuse on the courses without too many distractions, jumping in the sea at the end of the day or during breaks. Teachers were amazing and the location was perfect
