Club Mahindra Resort - Alleppey, Arookutty, Kerala

We had an amazing experience with this family-friendly resort. We stayed there for just one day, but it was a great choice. The resort is situated next to a beautiful lake, and we could easily walk towards it. They had a large balcony overlooking the lake, which was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. The food at the resort was delicious. My son particularly enjoyed the food, and they had a large indoor play area where kids can play with bigger toys and board games. It was a great place for families to unwind and have some fun. One evening, they had a free Mohiniyaattam performance, which was a beautiful and entertaining show. Afterward, we took a short walk around the resort and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The crowd was friendly and welcoming, and most of the families we met highly recommended the resort. Even though it's not a tourist destination, it's a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Club Mahindra Arookutty in Alappuzha (Alleppey), Kerala, provides a peaceful getaway nestled in the serene backwaters of Vembanad Lake. We had lunch here and opted for the Sadhya. While the price was on the higher side, the food was decent. They offer a different menu each day. We had booked two rooms--one was in a cottage, and the other in the main building. If you're travelling as a group, it's best to request rooms in the same building for convenience. Since the resort is usually fully booked, switching rooms upon arrival is nearly impossible. The property offers plenty of fun activities. The children's park and pool are well-maintained--though the pool is small, we still had a great time. Kayaking in the backwaters was a memorable experience. Their customer service needs improvement, especially in terms of responsiveness. We had to ask for water twice but never received it through room service. The same happened with the laundry stand--we eventually found unused ones at the neighbouring cottage. We had to take the stairs to reach the upper floor and noticed they weren't properly cleaned. Hopefully, the property will maintain better cleanliness standards moving forward.

The best things here are.... THE FOOD!!! Chef Henson cooked up an amazing spread at Breakfast and dinner( we skipped lunch). Both the Veg and Non Veg items were awesome. I gorged on the Kerala food and Continental fare!! Desserts were plenty and lip-smacking ( bye bye diet!!) Service at the restaurant goes beyond compare...Thanks Aditya for serving with a smile. Ever gracious and courteous!!

Had a great stay there with my family. Staffs are very courteous and helpful. Great activities for kids. Good for peaceful vacation
