Omkara Yoga Mandir

I went here for 200 hours yoga teacher training course. The Yog Mandir is run by Guruji (Karunakar ji). She is very knowledgeable and experienced. He is one of the few people who learnt yog from BKS Iyyengar. He practices Iyyengar yog. The Yog Mandir is affiliated to USA Yoga Alliance. I was here for 25 days. We did yog for atleast 8 hours everyday (Sunday included). The course costed Rs 85000 which included stay and food. The food was prepared by Guruji's wife who is Annapurna. I am a very picky eater but everything she made was so delicious that I always found myself finishing everything on my plate. She made delicious things with banana and jackfruit. The room has bed, mattress, pillow, table , attached bathroom with hot water. I was an absolute beginner but I learnt so very much about asan and pranayam. So glad to have found this place to start my yog journey

It was an experience of a lifetime. Sri Karunakar is a Yoga Guru par excellence whose erudition, experience and expertise emanates in his style of teaching. True to its name Omkar Yoga Mandir is an altar of Yoga - simple, austere but remarkably effective in elevating one from suffering to holistic health. I bow to Sri Karunakar - vinmr nmn! best yoga centre for new and experienced

I have joined 200hrs yttc. Words are not enough to explain my memories and experience here. It was a great month I spent. After searching many yoga schools and finally I get the best. Karunakar sir is a nice person and explained clearly about yoga and yoga therapy. I definitely recommend this school for one who was interested about yoga therapy...

It's not only a place for yoga, It's a place of worship I have found 100 percent results after doing yoga here. I'm so blessed to get connect with the place and folks over there.
