Hazaribagh Jheel is a historic, artificial lake system in the heart of Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, created by the British in the 19th century from large craters left after clay extraction. Composed of interconnected lakes at different levels, it's a popular picnic spot and a source of beauty and serenity for locals and tourists, offering boating, views of the surrounding Civil Servant Bungalows and the AIR station, and a popular cafeteria. The third and largest lake is particularly noted for its picturesque views of the sunrise and sunset.
