Be aware of their "scam-like" cancellation rules!!! I feel that my money was robbed!! I have to relocate to California due to work and was planning to transfer my membership to California because I want to keep going to the gym after I move to California. I reached out to their customer service. First of all, their respond was very slowly. I waited for an hour for someone to chat with me. The representative said that they don't have a location in California and asked me to cancel my membership and pay for $59.9, which includes next year's rate guarantee fee and next month's membership fee because of their 30 day notice period rule. Essentially THEY ARE ASKING ME TO PAY FOR SERVICE THAT I WILL NOT BE USING! I said I don't have a choice I am relocating to California for work and would love to transfer my membership to California, why sounds like you are penalizing me for extra money and force me to cancel just because you don't have a location in California? The representative said I can keep my membership but there is no location in California. How ridiculous is this? They just want me to continue paying without using their facilities. Keep in mind that please don't relocate to somewhere else or you will go through this nonsense.

What a nice gym! I was pleasantly surprised. They offer just about everything! Jacob was super helpful in getting me signed up, and he was extremely patient with answering all of my questions. Highly recommend this gym above any others in the area!

I find it unacceptable that people are allowed to enter the sauna and steam room wearing dirty, sweaty clothes and shoes. The smell makes it almost impossible to stay inside, and it's completely unhygienic. This should not be happening in a professional gym. Who is responsible for monitoring this and making sure everyone uses clean indoor footwear?

Anyu is an amazing coach! She always motivates everyone and has a great personality as well. Very energetic and pushes everyone to do the best always! I highly recommend the red room has everything you need to get a full body workout!

I recently transferred from LA Fitness and have been really impressed with VASA so far. The machine variety here is excellent -- tons of squat racks, benches, and bumper plates, which is a huge plus if you're serious about lifting. All of the equipment is in great condition and clearly well maintained. It's also nice to see such a clean, modern fitness area -- everything feels fresh and new compared to what I was used to. Their hours are also better than LA Fitness, giving me more flexibility in my routine. I haven't tried any of the classes yet, but the dedicated class spaces look clean and hygienic. A couple things to note: the sauna being co-ed is a bit odd and the smell isn't the most pleasant -- but honestly, that's likely just what happens when you have a space full of sweaty people without masking it with artificial fragrances. Not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of. For the price, this is probably the best value gym you'll find in the area unless you're willing to spend $150 per person per month at Lifetime. VASA offers nearly everything you'd need without the premium price tag. As for some of the complaints I've seen about teens in the gym: maybe instead of blaming the gym, we should focus on raising more respectful kids in our community. It's not VASA's job to parent them, and I'm sure the custodial staff is doing the best they can. Overall, VASA is a fantastic gym with great equipment, a clean environment, and solid value. Highly recommend.
