Hotel Pine Grove

Booking date 03/02/2025 (MMTrip) This is one of the oldest hotels we have seen since grown up I along with family reached there after laung haul international trip, just needed some rest before heading to Shimla late at night When arrived the person at reception was shocked to see our booking and he got stunned, I don't know for what! I would like to give 0 stars for Service, we have carried our own luggages to our room as everybody was watching us and nobody turned up for assistance, and during checkout the same thing happened as nobody was at reception and one staff came and he didn't even bother to help carrying our luggages! he was just watching us and my old parents taking big suitcases (7am) The STAFF who did extra bedding was Extremely RUDE, honestly i have no words for him, he just throw the mattress and blankets and he told us that do it later and he never returned (10-11PM) so we did by ourself, he also refuses to give extra towels as we were three people and inside towels were only two, in the morning we met same staff came who came for extra bedding (looks like ahe is drunk) (7am) I would like to address the management to take necessary action on these kind of crap staff as they are ruining your busines reputation Definitely a hell because of staff behaviour, however rooms/location were good I want to give good review for rooms, BUT STAFF BEHAVIOUR ruined my expectations and Horrible Haunted experience, not suitable for family as staff rudeness will ruin your holidays and expectations!! Looks like staff there just a Showcase earning free salary doing nothing and Guests are helping themselves, A BIG SHAME ON THIS PROPERTY AND MANAGEMENT

Although located in the city but once you ascend to the hotel you find plenty of parking space. Rooms are old and below average. But excellent location for Marriage and Event Venues. Food is superb and staff is very co-operative. Beautiful view of hills and surprisingly large open space for outdoor events.

My family has organised 2 big parties here in the last 10 years and we have never been disappointed. They have good rooms, reception is quite helpful, food preparation is very good and the staff is well behaved as well. This place recently hosted a wedding reception for us and all the guests were quite happy with the arrangements. The parking is adequate as well (they have a decently sized parking area next to Maruti Suzuki showroom).

My friends stayed here for a wedding! They had a terrible experience. The luggage was moved from the room without intimating the guests, which had personal and expensive belongings! That too couple of hours before the checkout time. This kind of hospitality is not expected from the hotel. I will not recommend this place to anyone!

Though this property is little old but the area is so peace full. And the staff is very cooperatives and helpful. I got a suit only for 2.5k and too was clean and well maintained. Food is little expensive here we had tandoori chicken that cost us around 500 INR. But the overall was very good.
