I've been training at The Gym for a few months now, and I can confidently say it's one of the best fitness experiences I've had. The gym is clean, well-equipped, and has a motivating atmosphere that makes every workout enjoyable.
A special shoutout to Coach Goldy, whose energy, dedication, and personalized approach truly set this place apart.
I've been a member of this gym since its opening, and I've had a great experience so far. All the equipment is well-maintained and in excellent condition. I'm currently training under Mr. Ritik, and I must say his guidance is consistent and professional. He ensures proper technique and motivates me every day. Highly recommended!
Great gym, very nice, spacious and airy. It has all sorts of equipment. Daily yoga and Bhangra classes are great. All the staff and trainers are very nice, professional and helpful. Specially Goldy, he is really very good skilled and very helpful! Training under him is great!
Rahul's knowledge of fitness and nutrition is impressive. I feel confident following your guidance knowing it's based on solid expertise. Great work
I visit The Gym daily, and my experience has been excellent. My trainer, Mr. Rahul, brings a wealth of experience that has significantly improved my workouts. Additionally, Mr. Gaurav has a calm and helpful nature, always ready to assist. Highly recommended for anyone looking to achieve their fitness goals.
Dronacharya The Gym, Green Park,New Delhi - Premium Looks, Poor Experience!
After spending over three months as a member, I'm sharing this feedback. At first glance, the gym appears premium--with standard equipment, flashy branding, and a legacy linked to respected names like Shri Bhupender Dhawan ji and Shri Mukesh Gehlot ji. But once inside, the promise quickly fades. The gym clearly prioritizes personal training (PT) clients, yet even those sessions lack variety. What's labeled as "personal training" often feels like a recycled workout from the previous day. Interestingly, regular members--who makes the bulk of this gym's clientele--are often overlooked unless seen as potential PT clients.
The weekly activity board looks like a reused template, updated only by changing dates--with no real planning or innovation. There's a strange 1:5 imbalance between morning and evening sessions. Morning members receive few, if any, group classes. Evening sessions recycle the same activities repeatedly, with nothing new to motivate or excite. Rare Sunday activities--pitched enthusiastically during admission--have only informal cricket matches among trainers or a few male members. No efforts are made to include a wider member base or introduce fresh, engaging activites. The gym floor culture is highly unprofessional. Trainers are often seen in groups at the reception, joking loudly, gossiping, or worse--making inappropriate remarks. The unusually high trainer-to-member ratio adds no value. Instead of receiving guidance, members are often subjected to loitering, idle stares, and unnecessary chatters. Many trainers appear to be hired through references rather than qualifications, and some behave like self-appointed celebrity coaches, while showing minimal skill or etiquette towards any member. The overall atmosphere lacks basic decorum. Trainers rarely greet or assist members unless they're pitching for PT. The reception feels like a staff lounge filled with loud conversations and little professionalism. Management remains largely invisible, with no clear supervision or accountability for floor conduct.Member's feedbacks, if acknowledged at all, is often dismissed as mere "MISCOMMUNICATION" or left pending without timely action. When genuine concerns are raised, they are rarely addressed with any seriousness. Instead of viewing feedback as a path for improvement, the response is typically casual and indifferent. What's more troubling is the noticeable shift in staff behavior afterward--raising serious doubts about the confidentiality and professionalism with which feedback is handled. This defensive culture here not only discourages honest inputs but also breaks the trust of the end users aka the members! Technologically, the gym is also far behind. There's no AI-based tracking, no modern digital tools like ChatGPT, no real-time engagement or app support, and no personalized fitness strategies. While the fitness industry is evolving, this gym seems stuck in 2023--with no sign of adapting or modernizing. Even feedback, if collected, rarely results in implementation or improvement. For a brand that carries such a strong legacy, this franchise is seriously letting down the name of Shri Bhupender Dhawan ji and Shri Mukesh Gehlot ji--icons who brought true pride and discipline to The Dronacharya Gym across the city.
What should be a space for growth, motivation, and transformation feels stagnant and lifeless. This gym must work towards genuine transformation in attitude, professionalism, and energy--or it risks becoming just another gym with a fancy location but no life and soul.In the fitness world, word of mouth builds reputations--and right now, it's working against this gym.
Final thought: Equipment doesn't build loyalty. It's the energy, the positive vibes , and how you make your members feel that creates lasting impact. And that's exactly what's missing at this Dronacharya - The Gym, Green Park,New Delhi....
The gym itself is decent, like most other gyms--but what truly sets it apart is the trainer, Ritik. Not all trainers are the same, and Ritik definitely stands out. He's experienced, well-trained, and clearly knows his stuff. I was actually planning to leave the gym initially because I wasn't too impressed, but Ritik completely changed my mind. His guidance and approach made me want to stay. He's genuinely a great trainer who not only motivates but also makes each workout effective and enjoyable.
I've been a member of the gym during its first 3 months of opening, and I'll tell you that I've never had an experience as bad as I did in this gym ,
I got to know about the gym through a friend and called the gym and they had briefed me about the gym opening ceremony discount and found it to be a good deal , the next day I went to apply for a membership and they all of a sudden increased the membership rate by 2000rs , and right after I've paid the amount they had told me to pay they tell me to pay an additional 20% for GST. I mean , every other gym I've been to , they include their GST on their initial rate and don't reveal the gst after they have paid the fees. But I brushed it off. Also another funny incident , a few days later , the same employee or trainer from the gym asks me money and tells me that he was going to pay it back and from the following day , he avoids me , not that I was ever going to ask for it back but just a funny observation
Then after weeks of working out I noticed that there is too much prioritization on the personal trainers clients where they don't allow anyone else to use the machines when they are operating it .After the first 3 months I just switched to anytime fitness just across the street and I've never regretted the decision
Been joining this gym since the last couple months. My trainer tells me which exercises to do everyday. I just have to show up and not worry about a thing. This really makes going to the gym less daunting.
It has all the basic necessary equipments, is at a prime location, and is well maintained.
Also shoutout to my trainer, Ritik, who guides me with kindness and understanding (even when i repeatedly miss the gym) ... and Tushar, who always helps me out when my trainer is on leave/not available.
