I attended a friend's wedding at Anant Palace, Rajnandgaon, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. Despite booking the venue for **two full days**, the check-in on the first day was **delayed**, and the rooms provided were **not properly cleaned**. The **decoration arrangements were especially disappointing**. At the time of booking, the venue promised good decorations within a budget of 1.10 lakh. However, just 15 days before the wedding, they **suddenly increased the minimum charge to 1.5 lakh**, pressuring the couple into paying more or settling for old decorations from previous events. This last-minute change caused a lot of stress and frustration. Moreover, although only **one building was booked for the second day**, the venue is now demanding full charges for **both buildings**, citing an extra 2-3 hours of use--even though we vacated the premises by the evening of that day. What was most upsetting was the **behavior of the owner**, who seemed more focused on maximizing profit than supporting a smooth wedding experience. They were **greedy, uncooperative**, and even **contacted the other side of the couple's family**, who had no part in the booking, which was completely unprofessional. Overall, I was highly dissatisfied with the service and management. I would **not recommend** Anant Palace to anyone planning their special day.
