Col.Viplav Tripathi Stadium Raigarh

This ground is located back of chakradhar nagar police station . You can play cricket, cycling, running , walking and much more works , But it is very difficult to do all this in the rainy season.In this ground, 15 August and 26 January are celebrated with great pomp.Government programs, hartals, rallies etc. also keep happening in this group.This ground has become smaller than before, the reason being that the police station keep the confiscated vehicles in this ground.This ground needs regular cleaning.Light has also been installed in this ground for walking in the night time. Edited - Now the name of this stadium has been changed from Mini Stadium to Shaheed Colonel Viplav Tripathi Stadium.

Many Events and programs are held here like Independence Day, Republic Day, Dussehra, etc.

This ground is mostly used for government work. It is the busiest ground in Raigarh city. Even though there is no green grass on the field. Trial is taken in the same ground during driving license. The program is organized on this ground during August 15 and January 26. RTO office is attached to this ground and Tehsil office is present in front of the main gate of this ground from where the Tehsil office can be reached. There are three ways to get inside the grounds. Cricket tournaments are also held here in some special events. The District Collectorate Office and District Sessions Court are also not far from this ground more beutyfull on 26 january.

Big ground with galleries for the audience. Surface of the ground is not in proper shape. Though locals use to play cricket, football and other outdoor games here. This ground is mainly used for Republic Day and Independence Day Parade. Can be improved by the Chattisgarh Administration.
