Unfortunately, my experience at Dragon Gym was quite disappointing on several levels. First, the gym space is very small and doesn't accommodate the number of members, making it difficult to train--especially during peak hours. Second, the equipment is old, some machines have been broken for a long time with no maintenance, and the overall number of machines is not enough for the crowd. Even some of the cardio machines don't work, which adds to the frustration. What made the experience worse was the way some of the trainers looked at members--it made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. This is unacceptable in a place that's supposed to be encouraging and respectful. On top of all that, the membership price is quite high considering the poor quality of equipment and lack of maintenance. If you're still curious about the gym, I recommend getting a day pass first and checking it out for yourself before committing to a membership.
