Long story short, Have faced the worst situation early in the morning on 29/05/2025 with so call night hotel manager. I think this hotel has two managers, a day manager and a night manager. They need to train the staff on professional ethics and hospitality. If possible, may opt for other hotels.
Just ok for single night stay or B&B. Rooms were worn out and without any windows/day light. Food was good so was the service. Parking outside is limited. Quite close to many tourist spots and on the main road is an advantage.
The hotel is in a prime locality. The staff are very polite and cooperative. The manager Mr Banerjee took extra care in nicely packing our breakfast for our return journey.
The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because of the actual hands helping you on the site. They increased the price due to the ziro festival I guess when I booked it which is fair to some extent. But the continuous sound of construction and geezer not working made me think that I actually made a good choice? Late I found that their breakfast system is even worse, being from a typical Punjabi family I wasn't provided a full meal and was told to pay extra if I want even an extra piece of bread. If all of this wasn't enough they promised me to provide a full can till Naharlagun Railway station for 1000 rupees later when they found out that I have company of two other people they asked for 1500 extra and that doesn't make sense if I'm booking the whole car. And yes my friend couldn't sleep because of a baby lizard in the room.
Location of the hotel is good and it is much needed in Itanagar. Aesthetically pleasing, the decor and furnishing speaks of good taste. But there is no elevator, There is a small restaurant. Reasonably priced awesome veg food served steaming hot. Rooms n washrooms are clean, but not the linen. Before checking the guest, no system for checking whether the TV, fridge etc are functional and a complete set of crockery.
